Incredible car that’s extremely stable at high speeds. Driving from Munich to Nurnberg I was moving at about 165 mph and the car was very well composed. I’ve owned a 2009 Bullitt and the Shelby exceeds it in every way possible.

Fuel economy it's not bad as long as you keep the speed in control

I owned the 2012 Shelby gt 500
I love the performance of this car , it is super fast
great interiors ,with SVT pachages , larger tires and rims
The engine tank is a bit small
I wish it woudn't be a speed limiter on this car
the Speedometer should have been a 200 MPH
and not 160MPH

hey why buy for 60+thousand when you can get a 09 for high 30 and do 5000 in upgrades and get better than 650 hp

This is the first Ford and the first "muscle car" (if you can still call it that) that I bought in my life - just could not resist the "most powerful production V8" and 662hp at $60k.

Fell in love at the first turn of the key. The sound is definitely one of the top features. The power just seem unlimited - as long as you push the accelerator, it keeps pulling like a jet on wheels. Makes me grin every time I step on the gas.

Handling is surprisingly good for such a heavy car, but I wish the steering effort was a bit more weighted and had more feedback. It needs a 4th "super sport" setting.

Aesthetically, the car looks great both on the inside and the outside. Love the new headlamps and taillights. The glass roof option is a must, IMHO, as it opens up the car and makes it feel larger inside than it actually is.

Man, it is hard to back up in this car! With the car sitting so low, I feel that back-up camera/sensors should be standard (or at least available from the factory). I plan on adding an aftermarket camera to my car shortly.

It is quite difficult to find this car at MSRP (or less). It was by far the hardest $60k I ever spent. I wish Ford had a better ordering system in place both for matching paying customers to available allocations and for tracking the progress of factory orders once it's placed by the dealer.

This is my second Shelby and it by far and away puts the 2009 to shame. This car is what driving is meant to be. It is unbelievably stable at speed and acceleration is superb. While it is popular to mod Mustangs, to do so seems superfluous with this model. It just almost perfection right out of the box. That being said, it's still a muscle car. Fuel economy is forgotten but that is not why one buys this car to begin with. I received my 2013 Shelby by ordering one back in feb, received it on the 3rd week of July. It's been a blast so far! I'm the only one in my area with one in Chicago. It's a head turner
