- excellent everyday car, problem free
- MPG - average about 18 mpg
Purchased As New
Brought this car new from dealer on 2007. 2.5 year and 62K NYC miles later, I had only one minor problem, the wiper motor stop working which dealer fixed under warranty. I will buy again.

- Plenty of interior room, HUGE trunk, lots of power from the 3.5 L 6 cyllinde, 24 valve DOHC Engine,
- Somewhat plain and conservative appearance but has clean crisp lines.
This is a very solid Family or Business Car, very roomy interior, huge trunk, plenty of power and acceleration from the 3.5 L, 6 cyllinder, 24 valve DOHC engine, very smooth ride, and reasonable gas mileage. Dashboard is clean and neat, user friendly, not cluttered. I bought my Taurus through Hertz car sales ( 3 rd purchase in 5 years ) and get great deals, ie - a 2004 SES pretty well loaded incl anti-lock brakes, and detailed and certified , with new tires, with ~ 25, 000 miles, for $ 10, 500. That is ~ $ 3 to 4,000 below retail value, and 50 % of " new " price. Add a 48 mo / 48,000 mile warranty from Hertz for an additional $ 899 . . .and you just stole this car ! Bravo to Ford, and to Hertz....read morehide
