Purchased As Used
I purchased this car used with 36000 miles on the clock about one year ago. I now have 45000 miles on it and have only had to do routine maintenance. It is not as sexy as the 2010-2012 models, but it is a very refined full sized passenger car. It offers as much room as some crossovers without the truck look. If you are looking for a comfortable and practical full sized used car that offers a lot in all trim levels, this is the car for you....read morehide

- Fantastic technology features, nice fit and finish and great safety features
While some people think the look of the car is bland, we actually like the look of it. :)
My husband is having a lot of fun playing with the tech gadget toy. The in sync is really cool and will appear to young generations, including my husband who is actually baby boomer age. :)
We also like the safety features of the car. The car is built on a Volvo frame with 7 airbags. It also has a back up sensor. When we test drove the car, my husband almost back into a pedestrian when the sensor beeped!
There are many other cool features. There is a light under the mirror which is nice when you get out of the car at night. There is a universal remote opener....
Average gas milage to date is 22 miles - not bad for a car this size.
Anyhow, we think the car is of great value and are extremely happy with our purchase....read morehide

- Wow! Can't wait to see the newly launched Taurus!
- Nothing to mention
I rented this car and was so happy at nearly every facet this vehicle offers. Not sure if this was the new Taurus Ford planned on releasing later next year or not, but if it isn't the next new model sure won't dissapoint! I'm planning on this vehicle as my next purchase, or next years model. Gas=great! Comfort=great! Head turning=great! What else can you ask for? With tighter standards in place for reliability and the US auto market, I'm sure major issues aren't going to be an issue....read morehide

- great fuel economy both highway and city
- no such trouble who wrote this about breaks and ride
Last highway driving according to the cars computer was 34 miles to the gallon. As a matter of fact we have put more milage on this car then our last because of fuel savings. As for the comfort it is worth a five star the Taurus has enough room for 5 adults and trunck space for 4 golf bags. Performance is another great feture when it comes to passing those slow movers and entering the exway. Appearance of my Chicago built auto shows that cars can still be put together with Quality here in the USA. My Satisfaction is another 5 star because after my lease is up this will be the car I buy....read morehide
