Not much to dislike about this car.Has all the same accessories as the 2010 and more.A great looker, and better fuel economy.Averaging around 23 - 24 mpg.Very comfortable ride.I've had Lincoln T/C before, and this one rides just as smooth.Looking foward to extended highway trips.

- Pros
- American made, SLEEK, Runs like a cheetah! SMOOOOOTH!
- Cons
- Trunklid to rear fender "fit" is a bit clumsy, that's it, so far!

The wife wanted a Fusion, and I thought i could buy a mexican-made car, but after driving one, NOPE! Tried a Camry (85%US) as well, and it was nice......... the wife wanted it on the spot. MADE her go try a Taurus, she was caught, hook/line/sinker in 5 blocks! Then, it was my turn to drive (no salesman, hehehe) At the first stop sign in open territory, I let the 3.5 breathe.............NICE!!! While quite peppy through the whole spectrum, from 5500-6500 rpm's it was an animal ! Almost reminded me of my '71 Charger R/T for a sec there. Hit the interstate next and it got to 100 QUICK!!! (sorry Ford and state troopers, I apologize sincerely) Accelerated well from 40 mph too...........PLENTY of passing oomph! Knew some rough railroad tracks, and hit them @20mph..............no clatters or rumbling, TIGHT!!! Went to the local wally-world parking lot and slalomed it, hard! Again, tight, quick steering, and almost no yaw! Interior is firm and tight. Lots of gadgets for the wife to mess with (SEL model, mind you). Out the door price was $200 more than the Camry's otd... WIN/WIN/WIN! ................just have 1000 miles on it in the two weeks we've had it, but no complaints from the wife or myself, except the trunklid fit.
One more thing.........we had to pick the Grand Daughter up from school the day we bought it...........'shoulda seen the looks and heard the oooohs and aaaahs from all the 6th grade boys............ just like i woulda' done in 1971, seeing a hemi car or copo camaro! (kinda sad that the young ones today will only see those on barrett-jackson)...read morehide6 out of 6 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Looked Great
- Cons
- Transmission
Purchased As New
Within the first six months transmission would loose power while driving or starting out from a stop. When on freeway this vehicle lost power when changing lanes and also while just driving. When trans would go back into gear I would get a big kick in the back which I would feel.Dealership could not duplicate with machines so I had their mechanic drive it home. Thank God it happened to him and they could see what I was talking about.Scared to drive this car. Got rid of this vehicle. They said they have not heard of problem. Wrong check internet.......read morehide

- Pros
- Handles surprisingly well for its size, nice interior and features
- Cons
- Exterior trim seems a little flimsy
Purchased As New
Purchased a 2013 SHO after lots of shopping to find an AWD sedan (Audi A4 was the other car considered) and ended up getting the car for $500 under invoice. The only negative I've noticed is the plastic exterior trim seems pretty cheap. Positive things that stand out to me is the ecoboost engine (awesome) and the leg room in front and back. I'm definitely a "car guy" and I would highly recommend looking at this car if you're shopping for an AWD sedan....read morehide

- Pros
- Fast when it works, nice interior
- Cons
- Transmission problems, "fit and finish" lacking
Purchased As Used
I've owned a SHO for over two years now and am close to dumping it. Car has a lot of quirks for something that was expensive and supposed to be "luxury." I think it looks sporty and overall it is fast with a lot of features. That's the good news.
But if you are thinking about getting one PLEASE search online re: SHO and transmission issues, lack of power, etc. Hardly a day goes by when I don't hit the gas only to have nothing happen for several seconds. Other times it feels like it has 50 hp. Other times I just get a loud clunk. There's repair bulletins for this but guess what my local ford dealer couldn't replicate these intermittent issues and would not fix it. So I am done. Other problems include: rear sunshade motor broke (was repaired), blind spot monitors come on when nothing is there (not repaired despite several mentions to dealer), and more.
I could go on and on but the car doesn't strike me as well made and the dealer experience is REALLY lacking. If you are pricing this car you could easily get into a real luxury brand and you will probably end up disappointed with Ford. I am....read morehide5 out of 8 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- summer" tires
- Cons
- gas mileage
Purchased As New
Drove the SHO home 28 July.
I would have preferred regular all-season tires.
A wider range of colors would have been nice.
So far the gas mileage is 15 mpg. That's awful. I hope it will get better or we may find it parked in the garage more and driving my husband's Civic.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Too many to list! AWD with great performance; many many toys, comfortable, fun to drive!
- Cons
- not much....just that premium gas is advised, a little expensive (but worth every cent)
Purchased As New
I can't say enough good about this car. Ford did all their homework on his car. I got the performance package included, and I’m glad i did; it made a good thing that much better. This car is "track ready" and will out run almost anything out there with its AWD 365 hp twin turbo engine! The pick-up is amazing...it just keeps picking up speed from the start…and picks it up really quick! This this is a beast when i want it to be, and easy enough to take the family out when need be. The navigation/Sony audio system continues to impress me. This car does what cars that cost $20,000+ more can do....and does it better! Nice…very nice car....read morehide

- Pros
- Smooth ride with good pickup
- Cons
- No keyless start for model, display is hidden by stearing wheel

I have the base model as a company car, which I also use for personal use. It's an upgrade from the Impala, which is an old dog at this point. Great exceleration and handling. Very smooth. Looks great! heck of a car for a base model but I guess $24k isn't exactly cheep.
