Best interior - Sweet Styling

by OlyFlex from Olympia, WA (10/07/08)
Pros:Cool styling, Interior Fit and Finish, Sync System
Cons:Should be compatible with E85

This car is a real head turner. This is no boring suburbian SUV! The intereior is first rate - you would be hard pressed to find another in its class that is as comfortable and just feels first class. The level of interior detailing is amazing - move over Land Rover and Audi! The navigation and Sync system works well and makes the Flex that much more fun to drive and spend time in.

The room of a full-size SUV, the feel of a car.

by Frank from Alpharetta, GA (9/20/08)
Pros:Great fuel economy, lots of room but drives like a car
Cons:Takes some practice in tight spots

Just drove a new one home. Great looking car, amazing head room in 2nd and 3rd row seats. Great family car that doesn't feel like you're driving a truck. The length of the vehicle will require some practice to maneuver it into the garage, but I'm digging this car.

Great Vehicle

by John from Macomb MI. (9/03/08)
Pros:Looks, Fit and finish good fuel economy for it's size avg. of 22 MPG.
Cons:None so far.

Great job Ford. We love this Car/SUV/Van. The AWD works very well in bad weather we ran into on the first trip we took last weekend. Every were we go it get the looks and people love it. The quality of this vehcile is at the top. Fit and finish is great. No issue with the A/C works well. Handles like a sport car with a Lincoln ride.

BEST FORD VEHICLE EVER

by Dana from Pueblo,CO (9/02/08)
Pros:roomy,quiet,good looking,better mpg than minivan,great standard features
Cons:none so far

We bought this car at the end of June and immediately took it up to Montana. This car is QUIET! It has more room than our minivan did and the 3rd row seats can actually fit an adult, if the headrests are all the way up. We have the SE base model and optioned with the Sync system. It has everything most people want/need. Moving up to the SEL quickly jacks up the price. On that trip, we averaged 26.5 mpg on the highway---that's up and down mountains mixed with some flatter terrain. That's not bad for this big 7 passenger auto. We have yet to see anybody else on the road in one of these. We bought the first one in Southern Colorado. We constantly get asked about the car and lots of looks!!!!!WE LOVE IT!!! This is the best vehicle built by Ford yet!!!!

Glad to own my new Ford Flex.

by Jayne Robertson from Elk Grove, Ca (8/20/08)
Pros:Love the ride it makes me feel like I am driving a Limo.
Cons:None yet.

I love this car I want to drive it all the time even if I have nowhere to go. I kept my old car to drive to work but I don't know how long that will last as I love driving this car. I love the sync system for the phone and my Zune player. I got the lowest model and it is still a great car. The main reason to buy this car was I didn't want a mini-van. There is plenty of room for all my grandkids (4 + 1 on the way) they were the reason for me getting such a big car. I am a grandma and this is my car not my husbands. The air conditioner works great in mine to where the kids said they were cold. One other owner said his didn't work well not in my case. All in all I love my new car and love the way people look when I go by. I have only seen 1 other one on the road looking forward to seeing more.

Fantastic vehicle from Ford!

by EB from Houston, Texas (8/02/08)
Pros:Quietness, comfort, features, fit & finish
Cons:None

We love this vehicle! The ride is very smooth and extremely quiet. Very luxurious, with excellent fit & finish. Good materials used throughout the cabin. On 90F+ days, AC cools very fast with help of rear AC. SEL trim has all the options we need. Great visibility and good performance. Getting 20+ MPG on mixed driving.

Run...

by TG_ from Temecula, Ca (7/22/08)
Pros:Rides like a Mercedes, Surprisingly quick, roomy and comfortable. Well Equiped.
Cons:Poor Fuel Economy, less than advertised. Horrendous AC, never gets cold.

Ford, has something good here, but as usual, it misses a huge feature like the AC, will not blow cold! Well accessorized, but from invoice to mark-up is ridiculous, wait for discounts, they will never get 45K in this economy for the limited edition. The Steering wheel blocks the instrumentation panel. I had to play with the wheel for 10min's but could never get complete view. They are also putting horrible tires on these chariots (Hangook from Korea...C'mom) Also frustrating is the vehicle really struggles with the 262HP, it feels like it has 90HP...very slow. I cannot believe in an era of fuel economy concerns they push this bomb out to the public. Amazing. This puts it in a price range with Mercedes, Lexus and BMW SUV's. Just wait and the price will drop, 0%, 10K in incentives right around the corner.

Awesome

by Andrew from Toledo, OH (7/22/08)
Pros:Interior space, quiet, fuel economy, style
Cons:TBD

I sell Ford. At first I was skeptical of the Flex. It seemed boxy and ugly in the pictures. When they first hit the lot I've been nothing but impressed. A lot of thought went into it. The SE entry level model has all the standard features you "need" while the next gen nav system is great! Sync of course is a class exclusive and having it on my Fusion I can really recommend it.

Some may squak at the gas mileage, but 24mpg highway in a 7 passenger vehicle... should it get 40? If you look at it for what it is, that's excellent; better than GMC Acadia, and leaps above a full size SUV.

If you need a family mover, this would be the best choice. It's roomy, plenty of power and options, and it is probably the quietest thing on the road so watch out for flashing lights because you can't hear them!
