| Pros: | Great ride in quiet comfort |
| Cons: | Gas |
I have a 2007 4 door 2 wheel drive and pulled an enclosed Wells Cargo trailer to Colorado in Oct of 2007 for a Bison Hunt. When I did 75 mph, which was the speed limit in wyoming, I got 10 MPG. On the way home, with 1000 pounds of packaged meat in the trailer, I slowed to 65 MPH and got 17.6 MPG.
Since gas has gone through the roof I have been driving like a little old lady. I have found that the accleration is where the most gas is used. So I drive a few under the limit. I live 18 miles from the town where I do business. I have found that if I do my part, the truck will get between 15 and 20 MPG. You just have to drive gently and keep a few miles an hour under the speed limit. The comfort and safety make it worth while.
I was a Police Sergeant for 20 years and just before I retired I saw two accidents in which the people should have been hurt severely. In both cases the injuries were minor or non existant. I really believe that the safety in the primary reason for driving a truck, although I need one living in the country as I do.
My only complaint is that I would be willing to pay extra for side airbags. I will buy another one only if they have the side airbags. If Ford does not have the bags and someone else does, I will, with great pain, purchase another brand. SAFETY AND COMFORT ARE THE ISSUES. The gas mileage is a little better than most. I mean true mileage, not sticker mileage. (Thank you Ford)
I am scared of the other peoples engines that run on less than the full amount of cylinders just to get mileage. I have talked with some that praise it and others that say that the mileage is average. I feel that every "gimick" makes a vehicle more likely to croak when you need it.

| Pros: | Revamped "stepside" is stylish, 40/20/40 seat is convenient, Factory stereo is mp3/Ipod compatable |
| Cons: | Chrome hubcabs a little cheap looking, Automatic locks/windows not standard |
The first dealership I visited was Ford, and this truck was the first and last vehicle I test drove. People can talk about how great their Toyotas, Nissans and Chevys are, but I must say that I strongly believe Ford is the best for me. It's economical in terms of parts availability and personalization, it's beautiful in its simplification and practicality, and it has a unique heritage of building reliable trucks. The 4x2 feels steady/controlled. I can imagine the V8 4x4 is a powerhouse, but the V6 has good passing power and better fuel economy. Nothing a catback, COA and headers can't fix...The cons are not vehicle specific, but rather something the company Ford needs to catch on about...power windows and locks should be a standard technology by now...and the chrome hubcabs are just lame in my opinion. All I know is that I'm gonna have a blast pimpin' this truck out...unlike my uber expensive Audi I previously owned...I hate German cars!!!

| Pros: | Good Fuel MPG. Averaging 20 mpg per the 1st 6 tankfuls. Deep bed. Very comfortable ride for a pickup |
| Cons: | None |
I've owned this truck about 8 weeks. No complaints. Rides smooth and the price out the door was $800 less then when I bought my F150 in '96.. Can't beat that!

| Pros: | Fuel economy 5 speed 15 MPH in City on my 99 F150. |
| Cons: | 5 Speed Not available on 2008 Ford Extended Cab |
My 1999 F150 has been very reliable and has 145K miles. Still runs
excellent.
Only problems - Clutch replaced at 90K miles. Alternator and belt
replaced approximately same time.
ABS and AC outstanding.
Would purchase another F150 Extended Cab if it was available with
a 5 Speed. Looking at other manufactures at this time.

| Pros: | Love Auxilary Input for radio, and standard tilt steering |
| Cons: | None |
I have had my new 2008 Ford F-150 for about a month now. I love the ride and handling. I bought this with the Flex Buy program. I got a great rate and term. People should ask their dealer about this program. It is not a lease. Thank You Ford!!
