Great truck and a real pleasure to drive. Fuel economy is a huge disapointment. You think they would make the new trucks with better economy than thier predecessors. Truck gets 13 mpg average. I towed a 6 ton trailer with a backhoe back from NJ and averaged 12 mpg. Seems top get same mileage no matter how you drive it. Besides mileage the truck is great, love the ride, the look and the performance.

this car is very good then the others so its performens is very good when its going;ike that elephant

After years of GMC and Chevy. My last 2 Fords have me sold for life.
The CMC products don't hold a candle to these bad boys

The 2008 F250 King Ranch is a great looking truck - BUT, the fuel mileage is absolutely horrible. A mountain trip cost me 8 miles/gallon pulling a 3 horse slant load with 2 horses in it. On the flat road, I got a GRAND 10.6 miles/gallon. Ford had better get this problem under control or plan on losing more market shares. I had heard this truck was suppose to get good fuel miles/gallon. If I had known this, I would have looked for another truck - not FORD!!!.
My son has a 1999 F350 diesel and gets around 18 miles/gallon pulling a car carrier. Just think the next truck will cost probably $75,000 with a GRAND 5 miles/gallon fuel miles. Absolutely poor development by FORD MOTOR COMPANY. THEY CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS or they need to close shop. This is absolutely redicious. Can put a man on the moon, but can't get decent fuel miles. Pathetic!!!

I bought my 2008 Super Duty Crew Cab F-350 diesel 4x4 single axle 2 months ago and my wife and I really love it. My previous truck was a 1992 F-250 non-turbo diesel 2WD Supercrew XLT that i really had a hard time deciding whether i should sell it or not. The 2008 F-350 was a big jump from my other Ford in many ways. One thing was the turbo. The twin turbo kicks in after 1000 rpm and really gets going. I only have 3000 miles on it and i have not run it hard. Half throttle it boost up to 30psi on the gauge WOW. Another thing is the comfort and space. People can sit really comfortably in rear seats which was one of the things we wanted in this truck. I wanted a new vehicle which is nice in and out and still be able to use it for my business. Last millage is not so good but I'm working on getting a chip upgrade that will boost HP and Millage.

Overall for the size and great looks and ride, fuel is not to bad, Later on I will look into chips to get better mileage

After looking at GM. There truck are so vanilla. Sure just as
reliable but looks will make the Ford win. features, Tail gate
step should have been opt years ago. Big improvements in the
diesel sound, just as quite as a gas. Pretty good ride for such
a big truck. 2k and no problems yet

THE MAIN REASON I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE WAS TO HAVE A NICE TOW VEHICLE.I HAVE 2 BOATS & 3 DIFFERENT TRAILERS I TOW.WHEN I HOOKED A 2500LBS BOAT BEHIND 08 F250 6.4,YOU CAN'T IMAGE HOW DISAPPOINTED I WAS ,WHEN I PUT THIS SAME BOAT BEHIND MY 04 F350 6.0 ,I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS BACK THERE.I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW 6.4 CLAIMS TO HAVE MORE POWER & TORQUE ,WHEN THE 6.0 OUT PERFORMS IT ALL THE WAY AROUND.

My last three trucks were Chevys and this id the first Ford I've bought in years. I got the Lariat package and the options are great. The new style both interior and exterior is very nice looking and comfortable. This truck has amazing amounts of acceleration and torque, and tows extremely well. I am only getting about 13 mpg but diesels usually improve economy after a few thousand miles. So far I love it!
