- Responds well, very smooth, quiet ride, good looks, reasonable price.
- Fuel economy doesnt start till you get on a free way. The 60/40 front is 60 on drivers side
The 2005 canyon is a very good truck for the younger generation in its appeareance price and size. It can be used for commuting to work during the week and at night its appearance is one like no other. Even the colorado from chevy which is the canyons twin cannot compare when it comes to looks because the canyons grill is already rolled, chrome, and the GMC symbol seems to hover at night. For price and style it recieves an A+. The comfort is good but the 60/40 front bench is in reverse. the 60 should be passenger with the 40 being driver and the back seats are upright with no adjustment. On the crew cab model the back seats fold down to reveal nothing. If you plan on putting a large sound system go with the extended cab model and treat it as a standard. The crew cab does offer a spacious cab with drink holders for both the front and back with 3 lap shoulder belts which gives you the ability to carry six passengers. The truck bed is deep giving you the ability to load materials should ever the time arise.the get up and go isnt all that was expected for being such a light truck but having the power of a v6 but dont despair it still runs with the big boys. Over all it has my stamp of approval and remember there are different trim packages whic can only add to the already great design it comes standard with.So if your looking for an affordable truck that you can use for work /traveling / and clubbing you need no longer search presenting the 2005 GMC Canyon....read morehide
