2008 GMC Canyon Crew Cab 4WD User Reviews
- $15,185 - $15,740
- Smooth Ride, Good MPG, Lots of power in a midsize truck
- Stereo system, seat belt latches
Purchased As New
I have had this truck for a little over a year now and am still absolutely in love with it. It s a sharp looking truck with a lot more power than I expected. Ive been using it to haul wood both with and without a trailer and have never felt out of power. I have been averaging 18.5 mpg and that is mostly city driving. The only downside I ve seen so far is the stereo is cheap with not enough power and subpar sound and the rear seatbelts need to be more rigid as they slip back into the seat quite easily. Overall my favorite truck out of the three Ive owned and thats saying alot as I used to swear allegiance to the blue oval till I gave GMC a try and only because Ford does not make a midsize crew cab truck and the explorer sport is no truck....read morehide

- Love the Feel and Look Of My New Truck.
- Not sure it gets what they say on Gas Mileage
I have to start with saying I have never owned anything other then Ford Full size trucks until Now!! But Happy I decided to look another way this time. I just Bought my GMC Canyon and really love it. I had a 2005 F-150 and was really happy with that one too. Decided to get something with better Gas mileage...not sure yet if it is really getting what the sticker said. This truck feels just how a truck should feel when driving. Mine has all the extras so it is really loaded with options. sunroof is a plus. The take off in it feels like a car (FAST). I have a 6 yr old and plenty of room in the back for him and carseat. The carpet bed was a surprize, but looks really nice. Was going to by the Toyota but it did not have as mush room and felt to standard compared to the same price of the GMC. REALLY HAPPY with this Truck....Proud Owner Of A GMC Truck!!...read morehide

- A solidly built truck.
- At this point I can't find any.
I am glade I purchased it over the foreign competition; it has great performance and power for its size. It has a quick response going into 4X4 a must if you live in a mountain terrain like I do. I tested a couple of other trucks like the Toyota and the Canyon is one solid truck. The only things I can suggest is to test drive all the vehicles within the class and I am sure you will find the right fit for you, because I did....read morehide

- It has a bed light
- Horrible vehicle, I should have bought a Tacoma
Slow, cheap interior, rough ride, and did I mention slow. When I tow even a little trailer with 2 quads on it I am getting 10mpg. Horrible depreciation, I should have bought a Tacoma.
