I just purchased a 2006 Canyon std cab 2wd WT package truck with optional 5 cylinder and auto trans. Coming out of a GMC Sierra Ext cab, it is much smaller, but somehow still feels roomy once inside. The base seating configuration is a little cheap looking, but surprisingly comfortable. Legroom is excellent, rivaling that of my old Sierra. Controls are plain, simple, and well laid out. The exhaust note tends to remind me where the term "ricegrinder" came from, but that's not a huge drawback for what you get for your money.
