Must people I have talk to said that GMC where the best quailty truck. I have had my truck for 4 months and have had to take it back to have it work on twice so far. Also buying it already lifted from the dealer voids the warranty execpt at that dealership, which I was asured that it would work until I took it to another dealers service department and was denied warranty service. This was my first and last GMC truck because I didn't spend 40K on a brand new truck that is less relaible then my 96 sebring with 120k miles on it....read morehide

I've got a 2000 Sierra 1500. This was my first and will be my last General Motors automobile. The motor in this truck started knocking at 20,000 miles, I called the factory and they stated that they knew about the problem, and that there wasn't anything to worry about and nothing they could do about it. I told them that an attitude like that is poor customer service and that as soon as the lease on the truck was up, I was walking in giving them the truck back and was going to hail a cab to go to Ford dealer. I've got an 85 Ford truck and have never had any troulbe out of it. The Ford just turned 200,000 miles. All I can say is good-bye to GMC...read morehide
