Traded in F-150 that had numerous issues (electronic and transmission) after 50K miles. Noticed on the test drive I had a much nicer ride and better visibility. Blind spots were numerous in F-150, not so in my GMC. Larger engine and more power, yet I'm getting almost the same gas mileage; I get 20 mpg give or take one mpg on a combination of secondary highways, gravel roads and an occasional 4 lane. I drive quite a ways to work, and after one hour I would get pretty uncomfortable in the Ford, but the GMC's seats are more comfortable and supportive. The ride is better too. Lastly, I have a large rack on the back attached to the bed, and there was more movement side to side in the F-150. The sides of the bed of the Sierra are noticeably stronger and the rack is more stable. So far, after 6K miles I'm much happier coming back to General Motors after my 3 years with the F-150.
