- 20 mpg combined is awesome. Best exterior of any suv. Great handling.
- Some cheap plastics. Front doors open too wide if not careful.
I buy a new suv every year for business and get the tax right-off for gross vehicle weight of 6000 lbs. This is my 5th suv in 5 years and the best one by far. The mileage is great and power is enough. There is plenty of room in the back for all my sample products I carry as a sales rep. I drive 30000 miles a year so comfort is important and this vehicle has it. The exterior is the best on the market right now. It is a cross between the Acura Mdx, Bmw x5, Volvo x90, Vw Toureg, and Lexus 350. I don't want to trade this one in at the end of the year so i will give it to my wife as her lease on a Mercedes is up and I will look at another Acadia or the new Buick Enclave which is the same vehicle with more lux in the interior. Best of all it is an American made car where the money stays in America instead of china or Japan, Korea, or Europe. Only concern I have is the front doors swing out fast when you open and will hit the car parked next to you if you are not holding the door. there seems to not be that middle position. I asked the dealer and there was no adjustment available. Overall great car. I looked at the new Audi Q7, the new Bmw x5, Jeep Commander, but this was the best value.
