I have an 07 Acadia with FWD. I didn't think I would need the AWD since I have had many cars without 4wd/AWD and have not had problems in the winter. But, this car is horrible in the snow and even on damp roads from the rain. When I am at a stop light in the winter small cars are getting better traction than I am, passing me by a long shot and I do not have a lead foot! I can't believe that a vehicle this big would have such a hard time getting going in the snow and damp roads. I love the way the vehicle looks, but would definately not get another one of these.
