I bought a Envoy XUV SLT V8 with air ride, navgation, sunroof, memory seats, sat radio, (all of the options) on 2-25-05 and have so far owned it a total of six mouths of that time it has been in my driveway a total of 96 days, the rest of the time it has been in the service department for a wide variety of problems. The problems stated out small with things like a rough idle this caused the engine computer to be replaced, then the tailgate not opening (it is an electric latch) this caused the accesory computer to be replaced, the next time was because it would not start leaving us stranded in the desert on vacation, took it in and the dealership said they could not find a problem. The next time was when we went on vacation it again would not start it took a week for them to replace the computer again (this was after repeated conversations with GM directally), that seemed to work for about a week then it would die out as I was driving down the road unpredictably and come back on by itself (it did this 3 times). Until finally of the 3rd of July when again it would not start. I had it towed to the dealership where it has sat for almost two mouths. I told GM after a moth of it being in service with no end in site that I wanted my money back they have been very polite and my rep. said that she would get the process started. That was a month ago when I call to find out whats going on they say the same excuses that this takes time and the district rep that is involved with this is not returning her calls. They finally admitted to me that they think they have found the problem, but the necessary part has been discontinued and is on national back order with no idea of when it will be available. I have now requested the services of a lemon law attorney. I even offered to make a deal with GM, if they would give me my money back I would turn around a purchase a Cadillac Escalade EXT and pay the difference in cash, this apparently did not work for them, because they still have not done anything, therefore I guess GM does not want my money anymore and that will be the last time I will offer it to them.
