- plenty of power, great tires, comfy ride for a truck, great in snow
- bad gas milage, braking is a little long
I love this truck, got a great deal with the employee discount and my gm credit card points.i stole this truck, fully loaded for 27,000 out the door.It has plenty of power, and the straight six is very smooth running.I got stcuck driving home in a over 2 foot snow storm last week, and this thing just plain goes, no drama, no fuss. The michlan tires are i nice bonus on this truck, as most OE tires are not worth anything. This truck really pulls strong, and has a really nice ride. This truck just went into the service dept for a oil change, and tire rotation, all free from the dealer.the only warrenty problems are power window cluster on driver side had to be replaced, buttons kept sticking, otherwise all is good.If your looking for a good suv, look no further, this is the truck for you.Go spoill yourself, i did....read morehide

- awsome truck it is a must see for new car buyers
- The AWD could use updating
The space in the back is incredible I could fit two goalie hockey bags and still have room for suitcase and petkennel. I say keep the Envoy the way it is all around.

- fuel economy, value, luxurious interior, great stereo, goes to 4 cylinders to save gas, tows 6300 lb
- none so far
GMC is constantly offering great sales to move these trucks and to get people to look at them. This truck is every bit as comfortable as the escalade for $20000 LESS! I drove the lexus, toyota forerunner, acura MDX and I couldn't tell the difference in ride and this baby can tow my Corvette to the racetrack. And no I don't work for GM, I just know a good value when I see it and I felt good about buying American when it made sense....read morehide

I have had this car for about 3 years now and already have had to replace the ignition switch the locked my car completely. It was stuck in the garage until they came to tow it. They had to drag my car out because it would not go into neutral and the steering wheel was locked. Now I also have to replace the A/C that just went out and my fog lights also went out....read morehide

- Roomy Backseat, loaded with options for convenience, sound proofed
- 6 disk in-dash doesn't play MP3 CDs
Until, I've always driven Grand Cherokee - Larados and Limited. I was planning on my next purchase to be the 2006 Grand Cherokoee Overlan until I test drive the 2005 Envoy Denali.
This truck is loaded with every option available including the powerful 5.3 Vortec V8. The windows are special coated to futher "sound proof" the vehicle. The ride is great!
The one option I wish GMC would pick-up are SmartBeam Head Lamps (currently on the redesigned Grand Cherokee). I do a lot of country driving and this option is really helpful!...read morehide
