- Super Ride, great vision, climate control very responsive
- decent fuel economy, radio lacks punch
I traded in a 2005 Ford Ranger Edge for my Envoy. So far I am very satisfied with my purchase. The outside of the SUV is very impresive and will turn a few heads. However, the inside lacks the same kind of attention grabbing style that the car has. The radio is not very good even with the upgraded sun and sound package, there is very little storage space for a SUV of this price. The instrument area is lacking the information that most divers would want. With all the being said the ride is so nice and the fule is not that bad for having such a beefy V8. Overall this is the nicest vehicle I have owned, both me and my girl-friend love to drive it....read morehide

- looks sporty, handles fairly easy, back seat roomy
- feel squashed in front, very narrow, steers hard
Just got the suv, while driving home made a loud noise, almost like crickets shrilling - my ears rang the rest of the evening. Took back to dealership next day, don't know results yet. Stepping down from Tahoe to Envoy, major change - much smaller, more confined. Wanted nissan, husband wanted gm vehicle, should've gone w/nissan....read morehide

- Very comfortable, nice looks, easy to get infant in and out of.
- Gas mileage, but as with any large vehicle the gas mileage will deminish.
Love this SUV. Great looks, nice ride. My husband is 6'2" and he is comfortable on long trips which is a plus. I have no problems getting my 9 month old in and out. Would certainly recommend to anyone needing more room.

- good value for the money, great standard features
- terrible gas mileage, back doors don't open real far
Out of all the SUV's out there, this one was the best bang for the buck. Sporty looking, fun to drive and comes with the best standard features. It doesn't get very good gas mileage and the back doors don't open as wide as I'd like them to. I've got 1 car seat for my 4 year old and 1 adult is all about you are going to get in the back seat. If you have kids and car seats, you need to get the XL model. I upgraded from a Honda Accord so the more room is exactly what I was looking for and this suits our needs, but if you have more than 1 child, you need the XL model. I'm hoping the gas milage will get better as it breaks in. Otherwise, no complaints......yet...read morehide

- Best comfortable drive for a SUV, Very classy interior for basic, no bells/whistle one
- Not very much room in the console for nick, nacks, fuel ( but that's the case in any SUV )
My father has the extended Envoy, and the back door opens wider, don't expect a wide opening if you don't get the extended length ( so for all you mothers out there, little tight for the car seat ).
I have had my SUV for 3 yrs, I had to have the a/c fixed ( some defect in certain yr. models ), I had to get new front brakes 2 months ago ( but that's only cause where I live, you have no choice but ( gas, brake, gas, brake ).
I recently had a mishap where rather than going to the dealer for service I went to a local shop and some idiot drained my " differential oil " and it caused severe damage. I had to get it towed, it was not a fun experience. I have to get an entire front axle. Since there is no way to prove neglect by the local shop, thank goodness the damage is being covered under warranty. I have learn that it's best while under warranty to ALWAYS have your vehicle dealer serviced so there will never be a doubt if warranty will cover for the damage. They almost didn't cover it and the repairs are going to cost thousands. I had it dealer serviced from the beginning except for my last 2 oil changes ( due to convience ), and look what happened.
If your looking to make an impression, let me tell you this, whenever I say I drive an Envoy ( people are like, wow ). It is without a doubt a luxury SUV, that is affordable for the middle class. Well, that is if you don't get the bells and whistles ( I would have liked to ), but I was just as happy as a pig in sh_ _ to even afford the Envoy. I love it, I call it the girly SUV ( sorry men ), but it is more femine compared to some of the SUV's out there. You don't need a forklift to get in, it sits a bit lower, may not notice that by first glance but once u step in one you'll see.
Well, enough said! Good luck on your purchase, I have no doubt you will be pleased with the Envoy....read morehide
