Very nice car and we like it so far. Lot's of room for a small SUV. Touch screen Pioneer stereo sounds good and navigation is neat. I wish the V6 had a little more power but this is subjective since I also own a Duramax Pick up and a 380 HP G8. My wife doesn't complain about the power at all! She would rate it 5 stars in all catigories and she's the boss! Overall we both really like the car....read morehide

- Cons
- Not close to MPG rating

In general, I would recommend the Terrain
I have had my Terrain for six months now and have 15,000 miles experience. I purchased a 4cyl – FWD for the fuel economy. GM reported to www.fueleconomy.gov that I would get 32mpg, when highway driving. I drive 60 miles per day to work with 50 of those miles on a FLAT interstate highway, the other 10 miles are city driving. The best MPG performance that I have gotten on a 1,000 road test is 24.2 MPG. At that rate, I will spend over $1,000.00 more on gas per year @3.50/gal
My dealer’s service manager and the GM Warranty group have made it a point to treat me like the Village Idiot. "We don't know what to tell you" is their most common response after I follow their driving recommendations. More documented details are available. I hope that GM will respond with a fix....read morehide2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Most comfortable ride I've owned, including my Town and Country and Caravan. Roomy, beautiful, fun to drive and very good on gas.

The best little SUV, size, MPG, room in side, The one biggie no garage DOOR opener. All the safty add ons work great, Back camera ends up my best liked add on, I would of never paid for the option a year ago. Fit and finish is very good. Now when they sprayed on the rugs they could be a little thicker LOL Had a full size wheel barrel in the truck the other day so it is big enough.. If you are going to down size this vechile is the way to go. GM you did good....read morehide

I have had my 2012 SLT-1 for 3 months and started getting message on display of "Service Stabilitrac" almost immediately. Its been in GM dealer twice now and is on the way for its third time with the same issue. Mutli-function sensor was replaced the second visit. Overall it performs well and I want to like the car but this is very frustrating....read morehide

Bought the SLE-2 with the 2.4 four cylinder. Have had it 2 months and am very impressed. Front seats are very comfortable with good lateral support. The electronics works as it should and love the built in bluetooth and OnStar. Took it on a 300 mile road trip over the weekend and achieved 29.1 mpg (hand calculated) via 80% highway/20% city driving. Very pleased with that for a not so small SUV. Road noise is muted and a very smooth ride. Would highly recommend....read morehide

We bought this car for taking trips and for our animals. The back seat is adjustable and I am a big guy and I fix perfectly in the back seat, tons of leg room. Big enough for 3 people in the back seat. Also if you need more cargo room, the back seat folds down or the whole seat will slide forward. Awesome !!! The Radio screen is touch controls and full color and has a built in backup camera... Love it !!! For the price you get SO much car......read morehide
