- Great Power, Great Fuel Economy For Truck Of This Size, Many Options
- Only Issue I Have Is The Silver Covering On The Word Denali Peeling Off, Driver Side Window Squeaks
I just turned 16, and my parents purchased this amazing vehicle for me as a first car, this truck has ceased to amaze me in style, good looks, and the powerful beast under the hood, although it is basically a tahoe with a body kit and new engine it is well worth the extra money that can be spent to purchase this vehicle, i thouroughly enjoy the XM Satellite Radio, Navigation System, and the DVD Player which i crawl into the backseat to watch during those long nights whenever i get bored and have nothing better to do, saftey and reliabilty on this truck is great, i love the reliability of the GMC/Chevy brand and with it being brand new, i have no doubts that this vehicle will last me for a long time. The saftey is another reason that my parents decided that this truck would be a best buy for me. Although Tahoes are great, and regular Yukons are too, the Denali trim comes with Standard AWD, with Stabilitrak System, Tire Pressure Moniter, BI-Xenon Headlights, Front Side Airbags and other options that make this truck very liveable, and a joy to drive daily, the suspension on the Denali is very well at home on any type of road surface, i have a smooth ride even over the bumpiest of unkept roads, and enjoy the tighter turning radius than my mothers truck (a 2003 Toyota Seqioua Limited), which makes daily driving quite easier, and manuevering around parking lots, along with parking, a much easier task than a truck of this size would lead you to believe. I would strongly recommend that any person who is out looking for luxury SUV, they make their first stop at the GMC Dealership to look at the GMC Brand Yukon or Denali....read morehide

- Tailored Look, Good Customer Profile, Many Standard Features/Options, Powerful, Capable, Spacious...
- Average Braking, Average Overall Handling, Nav not Intutive enough, 4 Speed Trans
This was the first SUV that either my wife and I have ever purchased. We are diehard German auto drivers that put a lot of weight on our ability to accelerate and drive through the curves of the road for fun. We researched the SUV market for months looking at everything from the Honda CRV and Pilot to a Range Rover. We had to establish defined criteria for what we wanted in order to make our decision. We chose the following criteria: last for 10 years with minimal maintenance costs, cargo space, passenger space, style, strong owner profile, Nav, heated seats, etc.. It came down to three choices for us..Rover LR3, Nissan Armada, and GM Yukon/Suburban. The LR3 was great but we had concern for maintenance costs after the warranty period. The Nissan was a very good driver and performer but the interior was cheap looking (wife didn't like the look of the exterior). The Denali was outstanding in its appearance, spaciousness, power (6.0L V-8), and luxury components to include curb assist mirrors, cargo cover, AWD, rear heated "Stadium Seats." There are a few negatives: Dated intstrument panel; dated 4 speed trans; limited leg room in 2nd row seats, no parking sensors, and could have better road handling capability. We bought our Denali as a left over 2004 model for a "great price" and are very satisfied, to date....read morehide
