2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid 2WD User Reviews
- Beast of an engine with good fuel economy!
- Electric battery in time will have to be replaced at high miles.
Purchased As Used
Overall this truck is a beast. I have owned my Hybird for about a year and out of the many vehicles I have owned this one is by far my favorite. This 6.0 pushing 332hp has plenty of power for a Hybird. From 0-30 it is quite, running on just electric power it's like a giant stealth golf cart. When you punch it ,the 6.0 kicks in and you feel the power in this motor. I have a 5k boat that this truck drags around with no problem at all. The gas economy no mater how heavy or light your foot is on the highway or city holds steady around 20mpg. The style of this truck is different with a lower ride and custom trim for a more aerodynamic look then most Yukons. I was also in a fender bender in this truck and even though there is not front number this truck is solid. The other guy had his Toyota,s rear bumper tuck ever so nicely under his truck while only leaving a quarter size dent and scratch on the front clip of the Hybird. If you were ever scared about jumping into a Hybird give this one a try and I think you will be happily surprised to find that it's not a tree hugging whimp like most people think....read morehide
