I LOVE my GMC YUKON. I don't care about the gas milage. I just go where I need to go, so I don't use that much. I feel like I am riding in tin boxes when I am in another vehicle. I like the feeling of a larger interior and I like the feeling of safety. It is a beautiful SUV and I would not have anything else. Sound system is spectacular. Seats are comfortable. I have room to put things. My grandchildren love the DVD player (and so do I)....read morehide

- makes a horrible strange noise, like nothing I've ever heard

Horrible, not worth the money. GMC has given us the run around regarding this cyclic droning noise that makes the drive nearly unbearable. Makes me want to vomit. It started when my husband drove it home brand new from the dealership. The service dept said they drove other new ones and they make the same noise so we have to live with it. SO WHAT causes it??? Figure it out and fix the internal design flaw so more people don't suffer like this!! According to my husbands extensive internet search GMC has known about this noise for years and hasn't done anything about it. Some Yukons (and Suburbans) have it and others don't. Some develop this noise after a few hundred miles or more. I fear something is really wrong with it and don't feel safe with my 2 small children. I want my money back so I can buy a Ford or God forbid, a Toyota. Should anyone at GMC powerful enough to help us happen to read this, please contact Sexton Automotive Group in TN. They should know how to reach my husband....read morehide

This SUV is the best i have ever owned. it has great fuel economy for its sive and class and the vortec V8 has some kinda power plus the automatic four-wheel drive is extremely responsive sadly where i live there are many country roads and it tends too bounce a lot. the air ride suspension has gone out and noe the rear end saggs a bit. it has wonderful amenities such as... power folding mirrors, heated leather seats, dvd player, sun roof, and this beast tows like a champ! but what happened to the good ol' fashioned motors.. but overal great car very reliable oh and another thing whats with the newer cars like slowing down before accelleration i have a 55 f350 that doesnt do that! oh and also my friend got in anaccident in one of these hit by a semi and rolled seven times he servived with out even breaking anything!...read morehide

- Pros
- Family Functionality, Economy
Purchased As New
I feel that my 2010 GMC Yukon is probably the most all around functional, comfortable, versitle, and secure vehicle that I have ever owned. I love this SUV. It has become a "Large vehicle" target for the leftist idiots, with not even a mention of the really true benifits this vehicle offers. My Yukon is a flex-fuel model, that runs on 85% ethanol. That is ethanol that can be economically refined from plants of low value, non-threatening to the economy or to the environment, such as switch grass. Running on E85, I calculate that my Yukon gets around 90 miles to a gallon of gasoline. How do most all of your crossovers compare with that ? There is no functional comparison, crossovers are worthless....read morehide
