The 2009 Savana Passenger Van is a 3- or 4-door, up to 15-passenger full size van, available in 10 trims, ranging from the LS G1500 Regular Wheelbase RWD to the LT G3500 Extended Wheelbase RWD.

Upon introduction, the LS G1500 Regular Wheelbase RWD is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 301-horsepower engine that achieves 12-mpg in the city and 16-mpg on the highway.
