- Priced well, good car not to expensive, sporty look
I've been hooked on Honda's since I bought one in 1999. All other cars have given me lots of trouble. No problems out of the 99' Accord. They look great as well.

- Breaks a bit grabby
I am just thrilled with this car, acceleration is wonderful, fuel economy is very good, beautiful looking, very sleek. I am very happy. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a sporty car, for a good price.

- Good performance, decent back seat room, GREAT interior, GREAT sound system
- Brakes are grabby and rotors warp easily, windshield wipers not quick enough
I love this car! My first car was an Accord. I put 230,000 miles on it before I gave it to my parents, and they still have it today. The Accord coupe looks much better than the sedan version and it still has a useable back seat. The interior is nicer than any Japanese competition and I think just as nice as some cars costing twice as much (get the leather interior, it makes a big difference). The standard sound system is very good (6 disk CD changer included!). The gauges are huge and easy to read (again I think the best in class). The 4 cylinder is peppy enough...(or just get the 240hp V6). Honestly I didnt realize just how nice the Accord was until I drove the competition. The Nissan Altima is CHEAP inside. The Toyota Camry looks like something my grand parents would drive. The Mazda 6 was cheaper looking and feeling than the Altima. Drive the Accord first, then drive these other cars, then drive the Accord last. Make sure you bring a check when you go back to the Honda dealer. Theres no comparison. The only compaint I have about this car has to do with the suspension and brakes. I had to get the brake rotors resurfaced after 20,000 miles because they were too warped, and they are VERY grabby when cold, but you get used to that. Also, after 5 trips to the dealer, they still cannot fix the suspension noise in the right front wheel well...it creaks over every bump and drives me crazy! And after every visit to the dealer, they say its fixed...and it seems to have gotten worse....read morehide

I think the 2005 Accord Coupe is a Beautiful Car. My friend just bought a BMW 325Ci and my accord coupe still surpasses the apperance and features of the interior of the BMW Ci .

- Excellent acceleration, nice interior and exterior design, very good handeling
- wind noise, engine shakes in cold weather for a couple of miles
I liked the car, because of its price and design. I decided to buy the EX-V6/6 speed for its sporty look and performance and the short ratio of gear shifting, which is a lot of fun. It accelerates very nicely with low torque, even in higher gears! The problem I experienced with the car is its shaking after starting in cold weather for a couple of miles (2-3 mil) , and the noisy wind noise. Generally speaking, it is an excellent car for the price and I would recommend it to anyone interested in performance and beauty, but not enough cash!...read morehide

- good fuel economy, poweful engine, Honda technology, most features are standard
- too many accords out there
I am not a car expert. It took me 4 years to decide on my new car and Infiniti G35, BMW 3 series and Honda Accord were the final contestants. I did not look into Honda's much because there are so many of them. I was mostly interested in performance and luxury features as well the as price(of course!). Infiniti G35 and BMW 3 series are nice cars but personally I did not see a 10K difference between those cars and Honda. I testdrove G35 and its performance did not impress me that much. It is very loud! Honda Accord V6 has comparable performance for everyday driving since I am not planning to take the car to track. For 10K less than luxury brands, you get everything on a mid-luxury car-including GPS, moonroof, leather, etc etc. I have driven it for 2 months, do not have a single complaint. The car is very smooth to drive, interior has excellent design(for my taste). Honda electronics are very nice. The GPS voice recognition works nicely even for people with accents(!).
In terms of performance, the car is faster than(according to 0-60mph acceleration times from various web sites) Acura RSX, Mazda RX8, most Ford Mustangs, Toyota Celica, Mitsubishi Eclipse, BMW 3 series, etc etc.
The disadvantages are loud road noise when you go above 90mph(I do not know if there are any cars that do not make any noise when you go that fast!) The fuel economy in the city is 20mpg so if you are looking for a fuel efficient car in the city, you might want to consider the hybrid.
Overall, I strongly suggest to testdrive this car if you are looking for a sports coupe....read morehide

- No trim specified for this review
- Outstanding value, well built car, reliable
- Performance not great
The driver leather seat always go a little bit side way when the car is under a fast cornering.
You can feel a noticeable vibration when the air conditional system kicks in.
A noticeable and irritating wind noise is created when the sun roof is tilted or halfly opened when the car is over 75km/h.
The front brake pads worn out very fast and create lots of brake dust like a racing sport car and hard to clean.
The power windows generate lots of noise and I think this is the common problem that all of the Honda owners have to suffer.
Uneven worn out of the rear tires and better to do the tire rotation service more frequently.
Intelligent 5 speed automatic transmission, but without the overdrive off button for quick downshifting.
Noise from the brakes after the car is cold started and drived within the first few minutes.
Superb engine with an excellent balance of performance, fuel economy, and emission standards.
Rock solid and sophisticated engine technology of Honda. Best four cylinder engine ever in this class. Very broad power band covers the low end and high end outputs.
Extremely low end torque. 1600rpm for 100km/h traveling and 3000rpm for 160km/h traveling in fifth gear position. Outstanding highway fuel economy.
Sophisticated knock sensor and the engine can burns 87 octane fuel. Save you money without losing the smoothness and power of the engine.
Best of the best ergonomic design, tons of room, tons of cup holders, big trunk.
Great handling and good cornering like a sports car with the bulky size unit body and comfortable suspension set up.
High efficient auto climatic control air conditional system.
Supportive leather heated seats with fantastic two tone color matching cabin.
Premium audio system with low noise working level.
Good steering with perfect alignment....read morehide
