- great fuel economy, handles great, powerful, looks great, great sound system
- seats could be more comfortable and more legroom in the back
I would recommend this car. I've driven alot of cars and this drives the best. It has alot of power for only a 4cyclinder.

- Good looks, comfortable
- Alignment issues, tire issues, rattling, expensive, braking
I bought 2007 Honda Accord in September'06. I have had a lot of problems with this car. In 2 days there was this lound sound from the suspension whenever I applied break. Dealership fixed it but it reappeared in 2 months. Car started draging to the right then dealership did realignment car started draging to left. Car steering vibrates. Still has this problem. I am really disappointed with this car. I didnt expect this from Honda in their flagship product i.e. Accord. I paid out of the roof for this car and have put in more to solve these issues.
I hope they improve the quality of this car. I want to throw this car into trash....read morehide

- Looks of the Car, Fuel Economy,Performance, Interior Lighting
- The seats are stiff and hard, the Brakes are too sensitive, No Rear Leg Room for the size of the car
I ve had my 06 Accord EX for 1 month now and so far everything has been great. The car looks great. I paid a great price for my car since the dealership was getting rid of the 06. I got almost 3 grand off sticker. Maybe it was the fact that I came in for an LX and they only had an EX with a Performance Package - Spoiler, Mud Guards, Mats, Trunk Guard, wheel locks and the stupid Paint Seal. The car has been great except little issues started to bug me. The brakes on this car is entirely to sensitive. You tap on it and the cars throws you into a jar almost instantly. The light in the glove compartment shines thru the crack and the dealership has no way of fixing it, eventually with my complaining they put a piece of foam on the top so I don't see the light. What a Micky Mouse solution? I just took my new Accord for an extended weekend trip, and the seats are even more uncomfortable during long rides then to work. They are stiff, I just traded in my 2000 Solara for this and the seats in that car where the most comfortable cloth seats I ever had. The leg room in the fronts seats are good. I am a 6 - 2 Asian Male so the leg room in the driver seat is a plus. However, the rear leg room is next to none. Put it this way, on the rear passenger side, I barely put a 240 CD Album back there standing straight up. They might have cut out the 2 rear seat and made this a 2 seater. The sound system needs more power, when driving on the freeway, I have to put it to nearly 75% to get a good volume.
On the plus side, I love the Ambient Lighting in this car. I also have an 06 Acura TSX and it has the same type of interior lighting except the Accord is Red and the Acura is Blue. The steering wheel volume control is nice. It has great power for a 4 cyc. It has good trunk space. It has plenty of cup holders too. The Titanium interior finish is also nice on the EX as well...read morehide

- Loads of Pros!
- Brakes a bit touchy and blind spots
Ive mostly driven Chevy's and Dodges and believe me I drove them into the ground. This is my first experience with Honda and I would never go back to any other car (except maybe an Acura - but again same Comp.) Im really impressed with what Honda offered in the new Accord. I bought the coupe about 5 months ago and still marvel at it when i go to hop in it. Its a beautiful stylish sporty vehicle not only on the outside but on the inside as well. At 5'11" im very comfortable and have plenty of leg room which was a major concern also plenty of headroom. I cant say enough about this car! Ive racked up over 16,000 miles on it and it still drives like it did when i pulled it off the lot.
The only thing that is a minor concern to me was the blind spots which once i got used to them was not that big of a deal and the brakes. The brakes are VERY touchy. I cant tell you how many times i was close enough to kiss the windshield after braking hard but my god that thing stops on a dime! Yet again once i got used to them I have a hard time driving someone elses car.
I would recommend ANYONE buying this car! I havent ever heard mine rattle, been uncomfortable or experienced any other problems (like i said over 16,000 miles later and still no issues)...read morehide

- Reliability, Fuel economy, Good-looking coupe
- No connection with car, Sensitive brake tip-in, Weak engine, Transmission, Cheap paint
The biggest complaint for me is that the you feel that the car is driving you, rather than you driving the car. I've never driven a car where you felt as detached from the car as this one. I've owned a 1996 Honda Accord, a Nissan Maxima, 2001 Honda Accord, and an Acura RSX. All of them felt as if you had complete control over the car. Not this one. Very poor job by Honda. I think they tried to make the car feel more luxurious, but failed miserably. Go back to how it was before.
The seat belt is too hard to reach over your shoulder. The brakes are overly sensitive on tip-in. The transmission hunts for gears when you're travelling on an incline or decline. Shifts too early out of first gear. Weird vibration in drive train when going over a bump in the road. Oil filter is a pain to reach. How difficult would it be to place it so that you don't have to contort your hand and/or burn your arm on the exhaust manifold to reach? On an added note: why 5W-20 oil? Maybe Honda wanted the extra mpg for the CAFE regulations. One more note: please put better tires on the car. They have no grip, and are noisy and bumpy. Bridgestone has several tires that are better than the Turanzas that came with my car. Why get the worst and most expensive tire from that company? Maybe an agreement was reached between the two companies. Buy my worst and most expensive tire and we'll give you 20% more. Who knows.
Otherwise, great gas mileage. About 30 mpg with mostly highway driving (thanks 5W-20 oil, 5 spd transmission, and all-season tires). Good-looking coupe. Love the steering wheel audio and cruise controls. Honda reliability....read morehide

- Good fuel economy, power steering, appearance, interior quality, stereo
- rattling noise, rattling noise, rattling noise
The rattling noises start coming out at 10 miles. These noises are extremely annoyed to me. They become louder and louder.
Honda shoud fix this problem.

- nice sleek look, very smooth transmission, excellent resale value, and fuel economy
- none yet, maybe if anything thing seats could be a little more padded.
I shopped around for months to find the perfect car, after almost driving myself crazy I finally test drove the accord ex coupe automatic and it was so smooth I was sold in an instant.
If your looking for a car with good looks, the best reliability and silky smooth ride look no further, and by the way the EX model is the only way to go LX iterior is very boring while the EX adds very nice brushed metal accents that just make this car pop a little.
Have fun! go Honda...read morehide

- Great acceleration, Looks great
- Seat is a bit tough on back, exterior is weak. Leaned on the car and it bent the panel in.
I really didnt want to get a 4 cylinder cause my last car was a six and i love to race, but beggers cant be choosers. Well, to my pleasent suprise this thing is fast off the line. I have beaten cars left and right off the line including an m3(though it was a girl driving hehe). Acceleration of course drops dramitcally with the higher gears but not bad at all. Car looks great(I have the Nighthawk Black color) and the car gets many looks. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the design. Interior is nice and feesl a bit sporty. Havent had any problems with the car yet (have had it for three weeks and about 920 miles). I have noticed that with my foot off the gas it seems to declerate really fast. Ive never had 4 cylinder so maybe thats normal for the transmission to do that?...read morehide

- Fuel economy, overall refinement, classy dashboard and interior, styling
- Very little headroom with sunroof option, audio system not very powerful
I have owned my 2006 silver Accord coupe EX for a week now and I love it! I hade done extensive research and the Accord just beat out the other competitors in terms of value, quality and refinement. Now, my son always wants to ride with me and play with my new Accord!
The engine could use a few more horsepowers, but it purrs when you hit the accelerator. It is smmooooth. I love my car but I think Honda could improve on a few things:
1) Easier access to the rear seats (tumble feature found in VW)
2) More powerful in dash CD changer
3) Full power seats in EX models
4) Full size spare tire
5) Darker tinted windows
Things I love about my car:
1) The styling of the 06 coupe
2) The incredible dashboard with dayglow. It is easy on the eyes, easy to read and simply beautiful.
3) The LED taillights
4) The seats that fit like a glove (great contours)
Test drive the Accord Coupe 06 and I am sure you will fall in love with it....read morehide
