2006 Accord Coupe V6 6 Speed Manual. The car is very fast and for the price has features that you only see in cars costing 10K more.
I paid 24,300.00 which is about 1000.00 under Invoice due to year end incentives. I also got a factory spoiler included for that price. I think the dealer wanted to move this car as it was on their lot for several months. The 6 speed coupe is not everyones cup of tea.
Fuel Economy has been good for such a powerful car, I've been getting 28 mpg in combination city/hwy and over 30 mpg hiway. The car is a very smooth ride unless you're on choppy roads then you feel the bumps. Leather seats are comfortable and interior has many nice touches like homelink, sunglass compartment in roof, sliding console with upper tray and power outlet inside, plenty of airbags make it a 5 star saftey reated machine... just to name a few. The car has a complete lack of engine noise, in fact it's soo quiet you need to watch the tachometer to be sure your in a high enough gear. The clutch has a learning curve and I say that as an experienced Manual transmission operator. Secret is to let it out slowly. After you've learned that it's a dream and the 6 speed trans makes driving an experience to enjoy...if that's your cup of tea. Car and Driver has tested a 2003 with less Horse Power and claim 0-60 5.9 sec 1/4 mile 14.52 sec. 98 mph. Unlike other performance cars I've owned in the past the Accord V6 revs to nearly 7000 rpm as smooth as glass and quietly, the only way to know how high your revs are is to look at the tach. Those (0-60 / 1/4 mile) are decent numbers for a luxurious street ride. If you're looking for a little performance mixed with Luxury features give the 6 speed a look....read morehide

- Great looks, good power, excellent handeling, a good buy.
- Some squeeks, leather should be better quality, needs to be a hatchback
I don't think I would have been happier with any other car for the price. Great looks, good power, handles well, and Honda quality. More features than anyone needs. I would not recommend if you have to use a childs seat. Back seat is the size of a compact car, but what else would you expect from a coupe. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about the gas mileage. I average 30mpg in mixed driving and have gotten 34mpg on trips. The lowest I've ever gotten is 25mpg. If you are not getting 20mpg, you are driving your car way too hard and should have gotten a V8. Yes there is the occasional rattle, but bring the car back to the dealer. I had trouble with the leather cracking heavily and the dealer replaced the seat cover for me. Great sound system for a stock radio. My next choice would have been the CTS-V which is an extra $20K. The Solara doesn't come with a V6-MT. The RSX-S is small and overpriced and needs to be redesigned. The GTI is way overpriced, underpowered, and poor quality. I have not missed my Mazda Protege since I bought this car. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. Comfortable, sleek, and can squak the tires in the first 3 gears. Keeps up with Mustang GT and is much better quality....read morehide

- great fuel economy. Holding the speed at 60mph, l've gotten over 32mpg - 30mpg cruising over 65
- Ride is too rough. Might be those 17" x 50, tires too skinny.
Seats in the 6-speed are a little stiff on the back, plus the stiff ride could make for an uncomfortable long trip.
