- Horsepower to fuel economy ratio, Voice activated GPS, Interior comfort and controls
- Soft/Erratic clutch, Handling on irregular surfaces
I have been an avid Honda owner for almost 20 years and would recommend this car to anyone who values a quality automobile. It may not be the best looking coupe in its class but dressed up with some accessories it can be as stylish as it is reliable. It provides such a smooth ride when cruising on the highway you can hardly hear the engine when cruising at 75+mph. It does seem somewhat rough when going down secondary roads with irregular surfaces but overall is a very comfortable and rewarding car to own. One recommendation which is now available on the current Accord is bluetooth capabilty would have been a nice feature. If you value your time and money and appreciate lots of luxury features from a mid-size coupe, don't hesitate to purchase this car. This isn't my first Accord(actually, it's my 4th) and I will guarantee you it will not be my last!...read morehide

- Solid handling, powerful and smooth V6, well equipped, nice interior
- Build quality, uncomfortable front seats, lacking some basic features
If you were looking for a one sentence summary, the accord is a great, balanced car that handles everything well. From a driving perspective, the car handles decently well, with well controlled body motions, responsive steering with good feedback, smooth and linear power delivery, and quiet cabin. Clutch take-up can be a bit vague, making launching a little trickier, but it's not too bad. Wind noise is subdued, the door closes with a solid thunk, and the interior materials all help this car feel more upscale. The interior looks especially nice in the black/beige option. The touch screen/voice activated navigation system is also very useful, though certain navigation features could be easier to use (e.g. planning mutli-step itineraries, finding waypoints).
On the negative side, the build quality of the car leaves much to be desired for a Honda. Within a week, there were 4 rattles (moonroof, stereo speaker, and 2 noises from glove compartment) inside the car, 3 of which were very loud and annoying. However, these weren't there all the time, making it difficult for dealers to locate the problem. The clutch has also been making "crunching" noises after rainy days. This is really surprising for a car that prides itself on solid build quality and reliability. There are also "bubbles" in the a-pillar/roof carpeting where the carpet is coming loose. With these build issues, I will probably never buy a Honda anymore... but that aside, the driving aspect of the car has been great....read morehide
