- Safe Car
- No automatic locks
Purchased As New
It's a great car and has a lot of great features. However, I have the DX Value Package and it didn't come with automatic locks, so I always have to manually let myself in and lean over to open all the doors when I have other people in the car with me. I then have to remind everyone to lock their doors when we get out. I wish I could find a way to get automatic locks installed....read morehide

- Great Value for Money, Great Fuel Economy, 8 Standard airbags
- Steering is a bit stiff, Little noisy ride, Acceleration is OK
ITs been a week since I bought this Accord VP. In the break-in period it has given me 30 mpg on LA highways(There is a lot of stop and go on LA highways). If I follow all mileage improvements guidelines I hope to get the suggested high of 34mpg.
The ride is a little stiff. The steering is a bit stiff. Its a bit noisy. But I saved a lot over an LX(I got it 3% below invoice). This is a great car if you are looking for the most bang for your buck.
I am impressed with the 8 airbags which are standard on Hondas, I guess. My insurance is same as my 99 corolla. I plan update my review as time goes by.
Also the suggested maintenance interval is 5000 miles which is also impressive. On my 99 corolla I have to service every 3750 miles.
Overall should be great value!!...read morehide
