- BRAKES (way too sensative); Twitchy Steering
I've not had too much success owning three Hondas in the past (not very reliable; yes that's right), but loved the look of the new Accord and decided to give it another try.
Loved the look, ride, handling, comfort, reliability, keeping my fingers crossed), safety, value, and features. Fuel economy for a 3,500 pound car is impressive; acceleration is adequate (after all, it is a 3,500 pound 4 cylinder car)
Brakes are a horror; way too sensative. At low gears gently touching the brakes causes them to grab, making seat belts to lock. Sterring is twitchy, making it difficult to keep car tracking straight at 65 miles an hour.
Overall: recommended by what I've seen to far. I'm not setting my sights too high though. I've owned foreign and domestic cars, with mixed results for both (best car owned: Dodge Stratus ES; worst car owned: Honda Civic). It's a car people, and even though it's a Honda it's not perfect. Come on!
