2006 Honda Accord Sedan

- Great features, LED lights, reliability.
- Horrible transmission, rough ride, moderate acceleration
I had a 98 EX-L coupe 4 cyl 5MT, which was excellent. The MT in the 06 4 cyl sedan is worse than a Yugo. I have had it into the dealer twice, and they can't find anything. The 98 was flawless. Shifting the 06 sounds like you grandma's blender. Mileage is 25-26. For this, I would have rather taken the V6 with an extra 80 horses and given up 2 mpg. Otherwise, it is a good car, but the leather feels cheaper, and the overall ride is a bit rough. The new tires skid on even damp pavement. What happened to the visor extenders the 98 had? Also would have liked to see Xenon headlights like my friend's 2001 Acura. I looked at a 2007 Camry, and although I love the styling, I would have had to wait 3 months and pay $4000 more than an equally equipped Accord. I also looked at a 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type S and an 06 EX-L V6 6MT and should have bought either of these rather than the 4 cyl. When the lease is up, I will look at another Acura or Lexus hybrid.
