My first accord, and I love it. I've had several car, from toyota, chrysler, suzuki. This is my ending point. The only thing about it is the interior. As I reveiwed I notice other car like toyota, Chrysler, had more interior toys to play with, but overall I love it.

- pretty good power, honda quality, very solid ride.
- brakes too sensitive, that's about it.
You can't have more car than this in this price range. Great power, very decent gas mileage, and a smooth ride. For $25000 including taxes and everything, what else can you ask for. I am extremely happy with this vehicle. I would reccomend to anyone who is looking to spend around $25000.

- Reaches 60 mph in under 5 seconds! Extremely comfortable + rides smooth.
- Having some problems, all still under warranty. Buzzing sound at ignition-told its "normal".
Have had problems with air conditioning completely going out....needed compressor...or some other major item, not just freon. Problems with a buzzing ignition and was told it is normal for the Accord. Why? Also get a shock--that hurts-- almost every time I exit car...as do the other passengers too. Told that was normal too! Problem with carpet not having been cut right size, and it keeps coming loose from the side. They refused to replace it, even after unsuccessfully trying three times to get the carpet to stay where its supposed to stay. Brakes needed more than just pads..roters turned...after just 25,000 miles. I guess thats normal too!?? Have also had stereo problems, but they fixed that. So far, everything has been under warranty but am wondering what serious thing will happen after it runs out?? Car does ride very smoothly...excellent suspension system. Doors close very snugly, and it is a heavier car so stays on the road very well in any weather. Interior wipes clean, and spills don't sink in--treated I guess. Carpet has been a very cheap brand and have been disappointed in that....read morehide

- Better than 2005
Honda is good in performance but if you compare to Camry it is way down for all category. Do not waste your money choose camry 2007 instead.

- I don't trust anyone but the dealership to work on my honda. Honda Tech is advanced.
This review is to help people who are considering buying an accord. I bought a brand new 2004 accord lx two years ago. I like the new ones but don't own one. Here is what you can expect based on recent past performance of an accord, keep in mind I have 62,000 miles in 2 years. I drive for a living with my accord!
I have a ton to say. My car today runs like brand new. Acceleration of my V6 is still smooth, quiet, and very responsive. I often drive at least 4 hours a day and my back or legs never hurt. Ergonomics are EXCELLENT with accords!
Look at Honda as a whole and you will see: The first company to make a hybrid. The first company to make a mainstream hybrid (accord). Prius was not a mainstream car but came out before the accord but not the insight. Honda has been a best buy on consumer reports for a long time and has been a car and driver best for WELL OVER A DECADE.
Honda never made trucks until recently. Guess what? It took them one year to make the best truck in it's class. Period. Honda does not compare itself in commercials to other cars. Does Chevy, Ford, Hyundai, etc. compare to accords? Answer: YES!
The accord has been very good to me. I've owned it for two years and have not once regretted the purchase. Do you know why accords have a great resale value? Hmmm... besides quality, besides longevity, besides great ratings, newer accords become more expensive.
Example: GM is planning on droppiing new models to all time lowest prices. Guess what happens to the older models? They drop in value also.
I can't help but bash american vehicles because look at the two biggest companies. Ford and GM. Now, tell me about their massive layoffs. Tell me about their quality. Their debt. Their history. Their future. I'll stop myself now.
I just hate when people give two sentence explanations why you should or should not buy a car.
The accord may seem a little pricey, but go ahead buy another car for a few thousand dollars cheaper and see if it lasts as long. See if it is as comfortable, quiet, technologically advanced, resells well, etc.
What have I had done to my accord in 62,000 miles? New brakes, oil changes, air filter, wipers, just got new tires cause I am a hard driver, and maintenance checks. That's it.
If I accelerate hard not only do I move fast but the engine noise is phenomenly quiet. I have never owned a car that matches speed with low noise as impressively as this. For the record, I have owned a Regal (82), Charger (87), Tempo (89), and Berreta (96). I drove many other vehicles along the way and none could hold a candle to my accord.
I own the sedan. The back seat area has a lot of room, even if you have the front seat all the way pushed back. It's the first thing people notice when sitting in the back for the first time....read morehide

- horsepower, angile handling and powertrain.
- same appearance, suckier quality. Auto transmission knob sucks. bad color choices
The Accord is a great family sedan and the redesign has a lot of changes on the exterior and improvements, however there are some problems and things i dont like about the 2006 Accord. They revised the rear styling with LED lights and the front bumper which is good. The brakes are not reliable at high speed and the automatic transmission and shift knob are worse than the previous models. Shift lever isn;t electronically locked like 01 and 02 models, shift knob is a cheap plastic stick. V6 engines are single overhead cam. color choices suck. Honda cars sometimes have brakes and suspensions clank.
Hate the color choices of the Accord. Taffeta white, Reddondo Red, Nighthawk Black Pearl, Alasbaster Silver, Royal Blue. All colors look ugly and dont sound sporty.
Taffeta is some kind of milk and food color. Nighthawks are brown instead of black. Alabaster is a type of clothing color. Reddondo Red is the ugliest red ever and Royal blue. and finally desert mist....read morehide
