- Powerful engine, satelite radio, roomy, heated door mirrors
- poor gas mileage, rough ride, sensitive brakes, lots of sweeks/noises from interior when on road
At 11,000 miles I had to take my accord in for a rotational noise coming from the engine. Two rental cars later and about 4 new belts and new water pump, the noise is finaly gone. Also lots of little noises coming from interior when on the road.

- Nice MPG for a V6, dual power front seats, deep trunk
- None so far
I got tired of reading incoherent reviews, so I thought I'd put in one of my own. Just purchased an '07 Accord EX-L V6, and was given what I thought was a very resonable offer since they are motivated to make room on the lot for '08's. It's a beautiful car and I love the V6; I drive about 35K miles per year, so I'm hoping the claim of 29 mpg on the highway proves to be true. Also took a test drive of the '08 Nissan Altima 2.5S and the '08 Toyota Camry LE but wasn't crazy about either of them - the Nissan had a nice ride but the interior cabin parts seemed very cheap, and the Camry's engine was weak (granted, it was the V4, but still...) and they wanted over 20K. Got the Honda for just over 22K....read morehide

- The V6 has adequate of performance, and the transmission does shift smoothly.
- The ride is a little stiff, but the consistent vibration at 45MPH whenever the car sits is awful!
The 2007 EXL-V6 is a very big disappointment. This is my 5th Accord. I have experienced an unusual vibration that shakes the entire vehicle starting at 45 MPH. The vibration physically shakes the steering wheel, dash, and mirrors. This problem is most noticeable whenever the car is cold, and sits (parked) for short periods of time (overnight). The vibration does subside some, after the car warms up, but it never completely goes away. The dealership service manager states the vibration is caused by the tires "flat spotting". The Michelin Retailer somewhat agrees, and were good enough to swap out the OEM tires with another model of Michelin tires, unfortunately, the car still vibrates. So I had them install Yokohama Avid V4s and guess what-they also do the same thing! I called American Honda Corporate Headquarters and they claim this is how the Accord was engineered to ride, and that I should get used to it...needless to say, I'll be pursuing the BBB Auto Line and possibly the Lemon Law. I know it may be hard to believe, because I still do not, that Honda can in fact build a vehicle that is less than perfect!...read morehide

It's a spacious car with ample of space. Vtec engine for v6 ..3.0 L engine but performs like 3.6L engine. Cheap on gas on v6 category. I am happy with my accord, but if I can my next car will be lexus 350

- Somewhat rough ride
I just leased a "leftover" 2007 Accord EX-L V-6 after trying out the new Accord EX-L 4cyl for '08. I was dissappointed by the new design only beacause I found it noisy, and I'm tired of noise. The '07 EX-L 6cyl has nice, smooth power--especially compared to my 2004 EX-L 4 cyl it replaces. The handling is ALOT better, too, especially around those long curves. It's far more stable and competent. As far as gas mileage, I know it will be less, but it is too soon to dtermine what the mileage is as the car only has 650 miles at this point. Quality overall seems good, and overall the car feels ALOT more substantial than the car I just turned in. Quieter, too, not just because the V-6 IS quieter, but everything else.too.Ride is a little harsh, but not excessively so. Brake feel is very reassuring. Car looks great with 17" wheels. I hope this all turns out well, but it is my 5th Accord now, and I've always had a pretty good experience with them. Anyway, there's alot left over from '07 at the dealership I leased this car from, so I hope this review will be helpful to those contemplating........read morehide

- It's a roomy car. Appearance is nice.
- Needs better protection for AC condensor. Doesn't have good mileage and pick up road noises
I used to think that Honda carries good and reliable cars and has good reputation! That was why I bought this Honda Accord V6 since I daily travel 100 miles everyday. When I bought this car ($28,000) it was December. I didn't turn on the AC during the test drive in that cold evening. When summer came, I turn on the AC and I realized that it didn't work. Something was wrong with my AC! So, I took it to the car dealer, then I learnt that the AC condensor broke because it was hit by small rocks or gravels from the road. This part is not under guarantee, so if I want to have an AC I have to use my own money to replace the AC condensor. The technician told me that this incident may happen again and they won't guarantee for it. So I had to pay $800 to get this part replaced! I couldn't believe that I paid $28000 for a car which doesn't have a good protection for an expensive part! That's rediculous. I felt like I was cheated by Honda. If you want to buy this car, you should talk to a mechanic and ask him/her about this problem. I wished Honda had a better design with a better protection for my AC condensor. After my incident, my friends and relatives said that they would consider if they want to buy a Honda. Seems like it's not a reliable car....read morehide

- Handling, features, acceleration, room, fuel economy
- Rough ride, rattles, squeaks, buzzes, rattles, squeaks buzzes, rattles, squeaks, buzzes
My third and last Accord. It's actually a 2006 model. At 4K miles the noises started. It has 12K now. The rattles at night and hatch new ones by day. Dealer and I are unable to fix and keep up with them. I'm not the only one having trouble with rattles. Google on "Honda rattle" or Acura rattle" and stand back.
I hear similar stories about Toyota and Nissan. I've been a staunch Japanese car fan for years. No more....read morehide

- Good handling, fuel economy, performance.
- Numerous exterior point flaws, inexecusible for any car, especially a Honda!
I have owned two other EX L V-6 Hondas, a 2004 and a 2001. Quality of all has been generally good overall; however, each had issues with exterior paint flaws. The 2007 is by far the worst! The car was delivered by the dealer with a 1.5-inch scratch (under the clearcoat - a manufacturing defect) on rear door! The Honda rep authorized repair of the scratch...but what a nightmare...body shop did a horrible job on first try, finally made it acceptable. Although this is my 8th new Honda product, it wiill probably be my last for awhile. Beware...while Honda enjoys a reputation for exemplary fit and finish, they are far from perfect and are getting worse!...read morehide

- Bad Mileage, Bad transmission performance, pricey, rough ride
The car is a disappointment from pricey to bad shifting transmission. Might as well get the Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger with 2.7L V6 190hp @ 21/28mpg or 3.5L V6 250hp @19/27mpg. Chrysler 300 starts @ $24,000 and Dodge Charger @ $21,000. Great cars from quality car makers, Daimler Benz!
