Purchased As New
Never ever will I be the first in the city to purchase a brand new model car. I purchased this car in September 2007 the first week they were available. This was not intentional at all. I've had to have a seat sensor, and tire pressure sensor, as well as the brakes replaced all with in the first 6 months. Every time the weather changes the stupid tire pressure light comes one. I got two nails in my tires and to purchase new OEM tires is $250 per tire....read morehide

I have been driving this car for over a year now. It has met all my expectations and beyond. The car drives well in all weather conditions. The VSA (vehicle stability assistance) is excellent for all foul weather conditions. The VSA works very well on snowy roads. It eliminates wheel spin and improves traction drastically. The car for the price is unbeatable, it has all the comfort and extras you would normally find in much more expensive cars. I would highly recommend buying this car or the 2009 version which is practically the same car just more expensive. The resale value can't be beat either. Happy driving!...read morehide

- Poor Built
I am a real customer not a dealer and believe me this car is not at all good. So many flaws, I would say do not believe me and take this for a test drive and believe yourself. This car has so much road noise and rattling starts right after 2 months. This car is built on poor quality material. I have been driving this car for 1 year and I would not advice anyone to buy this car. Before you buy take a very good test drive and if you comfortable with rattles, squeaks, cabin noises and steering vibration then buy this car other stay way from it. It will be big pain later on....read morehide

- Runs on regular unleaded , Roomy and comfortable interior, good sharp handeling, outstanding design
- Could use a little more torque, some road noise on rough asphalt.
I paid just under $25,000 thousand for this car. Comes with leather seats, satellite radio, 6 cd in dash player, 17 inch alloy wheels, sun roof, and factory alarm . This is allot of car for the money! I used to own a 2006 VW Passat...It was a great car but lacked many of the Accords extras. Overall I am very pleased with this car! The suspension is wonderful, and it can it can turn on a dime...This in itself is surprising from a car this large. The four cylinder power plant is quiet and smooth with its rated 190 ponies. And it does not require super unleaded like my VW did. Currently it has approx 4,000 miles on it and I have not encountered any problems....read morehide

- large size, very good handling, feels like a more expensive car
- some road noise (from the big wheels)
I love my Accord! My last car was an 04` 530i BMW and the difference in the way my Accord feels is not much off of the Beemer. The road noise is a little suprising but it doesn't bother me much. I also would have wanted rear vents and the side view mirrors to have that electic option that prevents other car's lights from blinding you at night. MPG are not bad.... I'm getting about 23MPG 70% city driving and 30% highway... not bad but the beemer (with a 225hp v6) got about the same MPG..... overall I love the car and plan on driving it for another 5 years... unless my GF decides to "borrow" it on a long term basis!...read morehide

- Comfort, style and fun to drive.
I HAD MY ACCORD FOR 3 MONTHS AND LOVE IT. I LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN PA AND AVERAGE ABOUT 24 MPG LOCAL AND 30 MPG HIGHWAY. SMOOTH RIDE, COMFORTABLE SEATS. MY NEICE PURCHASE THE ACCORD AND BROUGHT IT UP TO SHOW ME. AFTER DRIVING IT I KNEW I WANTED THE ACCORD EX WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLE....read morehide

- This car looks , drives and performs far above its competitors. 34 mpg in the first fill-up.
We looked around for about a month or so. Nothing out there gave us the satisfaction of the Accord. It looks great, drives like a sports car and is comfortable. When we considered value, re-sale and quality, the Accord won hands-down. WE have owned three other Accords and while we are open to check out others, we have continued to buy Accords. Our black Accord, alloy wheels and XM gives comfort, great mileage and outsatanding looks. Buy one and relax. The sales person for the dealer was outstanding. Most of the deal was done online. No hassel and great price....read morehide

- Styling, Dash Layout, Truck, Fit and Finish
- Very Poor Mileage, Seats hard head rest lean head forward VCR shudder no seat memory no rear vent
After 3100 miles of driving in our Accord we have averaged 14.3 miles a gal in town driving and 25.5 miles @ 60 miles per hr. We take off slow, coast to stop. shift into neutral at stoplights and turnoff the car if idling more than a minute or so. We sold our Avalanche which got 15 mile per gal for a smaller less equiped vehicle that is a chore to drive to get better mileage.
The seats are very firm and long trips uncomfortable. the head rest force your head frontward and unpleasent . No seat memory means my petite wife and I have to take time to reset the seat. No rear A/C is uncomfortable for our kids. The arm rest slides forward which means you cannot use the drink holder. The radio is not that impressive compared to our former Bose system, Heated seat on Honda only heats bottom of seat not the back,
The sunroof is quiet when driving which is an improvement over our Chevy. Performance for a V6 is marginal and lacks punch over 65 miles per hr. The VCM does shudder though when it kicks in but you can live with it. Our seat track broke on the ar and awaiting parts to replace, the dealer told us to live with the mileage. Can use a 6 speed transmission. Overall we gave up a lot of comfort with our Avalanche for poor mileage in town and but definetly better highway miles. We are shopping for another vehicle....read morehide

- Nice looks, roomy, economy and luxury for the money. Firm seats for long hauls.
- needs rear seat vents, road noise a little loud, just a little..
This is my first Honda. After looking at the EX-L you won't want to go any lower. Leather comes standard, as does auto climate control. The seats are nice and firm for support on long trips. Firm seats are the deal when it comes to fighting fatigue on long drives. Mercedes came up with this long ago and with good reason. XM radio comes standard with 3 months free and I will pay for it after this "freebie" runs out. Nice setup. Good ergonomics with the dash and center stack. I got the non-navigation model. I have never needed a car to tell me when and where to turn and won't start now. It was like a $3k hike for that. I don't need to keep up with the neighbor's new car. Economy is great and returned a 33 mpg instead of the 31 mpg on the sticker. The 190 horse, high output 4 banger does everything I need it to. The transmission "locks" into a lower gear when it recognizes a grade, up or down. So no pulling into lower gears manually to keep the tranny from shifting back and forth. After seeing all the nice quality I did expect it to be quieter on the road. But this is a Honda and not a Cadillac. These cars are built to run and not fall apart. I‘ve had more expensive cars and this one measures up pretty well. With gas being high these days this car is a smart move. I liked the Camry but this car is better looking. It just needs rear air/heat vents to make people in the back a little more comfortable. But I can over look this small detail. Good buy IMHO.....read morehide

- None I guess
- Broke down, noisy, blinks in night
I should say stay away from this car. I bought this car in december, in 2nd months power steering broke down, now I am hearing noises from all around, dealer is changing most of the parts. Headlight blinks in the night which is a safty hazards. I think something serious went wrong with this generation of Honda. I am not suggesting anybody to buy this car. This car was in the server shop for many times. If you do not believe me test drive this car carefully and believe youself..too noisy and too bumpy..drive at night to check blinking of head light....read morehide
