2008 Honda Accord Sedan

- Comfortable, Spacious, Beautiful, Smooth, 25 MPG Average
- Engine is a little noisy when it is shifting
I just love this car! I test drove the '07, but was advised to hold off for the 08, and boy am I glad I did! It is a pleasure to drive, easy to handle and so comfortable to be in. The steering wheel is smaller than my old car, the controls are closer, and the seat allows me to lift higher. This car just seems to mold itself to the driver, fitting like an isotoner. The passengers don't get a bad deal either...it is luxuriously roomy and the seats are so comfortable we find ourselves wanting to stay in the car longer than necessary. I love the heated seats & side mirrors, they make such a difference in the snow and ice!
The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the engine sounds a bit loud when it is shifting, but it is so brief that it is hardly worth worrying about. I considered buying the V6 instead, but I really do more city driving than highway and appreciate the lower gas expense.
It would be nice if the front passenger seat was power with lumbar support and back heating....read morehide

- Fit, Finish, Looks, Ride, Everything works.
- Could use some more torque, but what couldn't for the price?
This is truly a great car. I had the '91 Accord and put 286k miles before I was hit and the car totaled. This car is better than that car, and the '91 was a great car. It's beautiful in and out, to begin with. Fit, finish, shine..size of the tires, I mean, P225/50/R17? Tremendous. A BIG improvement over the previous redesign (ending with 2007). They tightened up the suspension - noticeably. Previous redesigns had gotten further from the good handling of the '91 edition. It's like the car had gotten larger, but the suspension hadn't been buttressed to compensate. Not any more. A BIG improvement there, too. And, finally, it's so much ridiculously better than that daggone 2007 Subaru Legacy GT Spec.B I sold in order to buy it!!! Oh, my goodness how that is a BAD car!! Subaru raves about the Bilstein suspension in the Spec.B. I'm telling you, the '08 Accord handles better. You will never regret your decision if you buy the '08 Accord, and the EX-L trim line is so nice, and well worth the money. Happy driving....read morehide

- Tight tracking road manners
- Nothing yet
For all you folks who are complaining that this care isn't smooth enough, I suggest you buy an Camry, Buick, or a slush-box Detroit cruiser.

- More leg room
- Noisy, ugly and outdated looking exterior, so so handling.
Honda right now is going backward, not forward. How can Honda design a car with such ugly and outdated exterior. Road and engine noise is very loud and you can hear it inside the cabin. Handling also not really that good if compare to other brands such as Ford, Nissan Toyota...... Overall, I'm not satisfy with this car and I would only give 4 out of 10 stars....read morehide

- Great & handsome looking & lots of gadgets!
- Don't trust the price you see on the internet.
I actually got many quotes from the internet before I went to the dealerships. No, you won't get the actual price as the quote or you will never find the car as the quote.
I got 4-cyl, 4 door, EX-L with Sunroof and 5MT. The base is $26K. The lowest price I got was $25.3K. Well, when I actually got there, the dealer already throw a bunch of junks to increase the price. I didn't see any EX-L with the price tag of $25.3k. The cheapest one I found was $28k. Oh, the leather added one was nearly $31k. Yes, this is for 4-cyl car price. Oh did I mention that you still need to pay the tax and etc etc? You can get 2007 Infinity G35 for just $1k more!!! Since G37 replaces G35, G35 prices are much cheaper than you may think!
I got my G35 sedan (Base model with sunroof) instead of Accord for about $33k. This is after tax and etc etc! Well, if you wanna stick with Accord, it's up to you. You will be the driver and paying for the car.
If this is a gas saver car, then try Altima Hybrid for less than $30k fully loaded....read morehide
