The transmission on this car sucks. It is too computer controlled and you have NO control what so ever. You can drive all day long on level ground at 40mph and it wont shift to 5th gear - wasting gas. You have to be going 43 before it will shift. It wont shift up when going down hill - it's like you have your foot on the brake. It wont shift up when going up hill - over revs the engine wastes gas. The shifter stops at D3 instead of D like every other care I have ever driven so you have to look at the gear indicator or the lever itself to make sure you have it in D for gas mileage.
Rides like a rock - like it doesnt have any springs - the ride is way too stiff. I live in a norther climate and we have chuck holes and rougher roads and you feel every single one of them - even the very small ones - jars your teeth.
The brakes clack and pop when going forward after reverse or the other way around. They are grabby - very touchy and now at 24,000 miles they are vibrating and shaking the car because the rotors are warped and we are older retired people who do not drive hard. Honda dealer wont do anything about it. When I called about the brakes the things they said led me to know that they all get warped rotors.
I hate the driver window - always rolls up or down all the way because the button is too touchy.
