- Rear Breake Pad issue; assembly quality
Purchased As New
I am big Honda fan until my 09 Accord Rear Pad issue occured today. I found out noise from rear part of my accord and drove it to the Honda dealer. They said it's rear pad issue and it's not covered by waranty. It's just 19000 highway miles and it should not need to replaced from my past Honda experience ( two Civics 93, 97).
Fortunately, I found a post card from Honda regarding settlement of rear pad . Honda admitted the rear pad issue and can be reimbursement for $ 125 to $130. On the other word, I still have to pay $100 from my pocket.
I am bit dispointment that Honda delaer didn't tell me the settlement until I found out by myself. If I didn't pay attention on the settlement , I would pay full money that new car suppose to be not occured.
From this event, I am lossing confidence on Honda.
