Seat back caused severe back pain

I bought this car brand new, and after driving it for just four days, I was having such severe back pain that I realized there was no way I could keep it. The seat has an adjustable lumbar support, but it also has a very large bulge higher up that forces the back into an unnatural curve. It was not uncomfortable on the 15-20 minute test drive, and I only started experiencing pain after I had driven the car a total of about 1.5-2 hours over a couple days. I am a healthy 24 year old with no history of back injury, but three months after driving this car for just four days and subsequently getting rid of it, I'm still dealing with the pain daily. Just got the car today, put a little over 100 miles on it. Very nice ride, excellent air conditioning. Not sure about fuel economy yet, have to drive a little more. So far pretty good. Feels like a luxury car inside. Will update this review after a week or two after fuel economy.

Leased my SE last summer with no down - no other brand seems to be able to compete on leases. Had been looking at a Cruze, but the total cost of the Accord lease was significantly less than the Cruze lease - for a much nicer car! Chevy has done a nice job of noise dampening; Honda could learn something there. Also drove a Sonata for several days as a rental, and while I appreciated the styling and some of the features (e.g., bluetooth), the engine just couldn't compete with the 4-cyl Accord. This is my 3rd Accord and 4th Honda. Thought I might end up in something else this time (even an American car!), but the quality, value, and good dealership experience brought me back....read morehide

For the money , this is a great car, when you consider that I leased the base LX auto transmission , it is a great value for the money. It is a joy to drive and it almost drives itself. Would I have liked a moon roof and electric seats, sure , but the are standard on the more expensive models. All things considered , I enjoy driving the vehicle....read morehide

I love this car. It looks nice and it has so much power. Honda makes great cars. I strongly recommand to test drive it and find out how it handles. So much fun to drive. I Have no regerts.

Poor acceleration in 4 cyl. (174hp & 190hp) need to replace Rotors every 6k to 12k miles.

The car handles great. It has tons of room, the engine purs, and the ride is pretty comfortable. The issue is the BRAKES AND ROTORS! If you hit a puddle and brake at the same time, or if you have to brake when it's raining out, say GOODBYE ROTORS. I have had this car for 3 years, have 36.7K miles, and have had to replace the rotors 4 times! I don't drive like a demon or anything, the rotors are simply too small and too poorly manufactured.

Please search "Honda Accord Rotor Issues/Problems" or something to that effect. You'll find almost 2 MILLION articles addressing this problem. I have spoken to 8 Honda Accord owners (co-workers and friends) and ALL of them are either suffering through it or have ditched their Accords.

For some, you get lucky, for others...well, you just pray that your rotors crap out before the repair shop warantee expires or you'll eat another $850 in new rotors, pads, and labor...YEARLY!

This car is a DO NOT BUY! They have not fixed their issues and I encourage everyone who is thinking of buying this car to talk to owners, or at least do some research on the topic....read morehide
