Purchased As New
I bought my EX-L CVT new, last October. I currently have 9,500 miles on it. A sharp looking car. I love the Obsidian Blue color! I like the black & grey coordinated interior. The all new 9th Gen, offers more interior room, from a shorter car! I am happy with the amenities it has, but do wish the passenger seat had the same power capabilities, as the driver's seat. I read the other reviews, and don't understand where some people are coming from. The direct injected 4 is plenty peppy! I really don't see a need, to spend $2k more, for the 6. The CVT works great! If you try to control it, by accelerating or decelerating, then yes, it will not like you very much. But, if you just drive the car, it's as smooth as silk. It handles real good, and contrary to what a few people have said, it IS a quiet ride!
I bought the EX-L primarily for the better stereo, which sounds beautiful, with the subwoofer. My only complaint, is that I've had problems with the stereo/video functions, which I've received a service bulletin/recall notice on, and will have it addressed at my 10k servicing.
I think sometimes people expect too much. This is a HONDA. For being a car born of economy roots, I think they've done a great job with it. If you want a Honda to come with luxury car gadgets and ride, then pony up the $40k+, and buy the (parent company) Acura TL!
