Purchased As New
Now wish I had looked closer and closer at other cars before buying the 2013 Accord EX-L-4. The creature features of this car just plain suck.
My wife is shorter, so the middle arm rest is useless for her with the seat moved up, not much better for me, I'm 6 foot. There is almost no storage for CD's, or places to set anything, like glasses and badges. The small covered storage on the console below the radio is useless, because of the flip up door.
The arm rest on the drivers door is to low, can't find a comfortable position to hold the wheel and rest your arm. The driver's seat is uncomfortable and hard in the seat
area, with a seam that hits you wrong. Just can't find a comfortable position for driving and I fear this car will be murder on long trips.
I didn't pay real close attention while my wife test drove the car, because it was going to be her car, and the rear seat where I sat was very comfortable. Found out the car drives on rougher city streets like there are no springs and no shocks. Unfortunately, no rougher roads on the test drive.
Worst of all, high end model of the Accord, EX-L-4, and it doesn't have a garage door button, something you just don't expect to not have on a car in this class, or notice until After you buy the car. Standard on the v-6. Don't need a hundred different ways to interface my phone, but NO garage door button on a high end Accord makes me VERY unhappy.
Had three Accords before this, loved them and maybe why I didn't look so close at this one. Went with a Camry in between the three Accords and this one. Traded in the Camry and now wish I had it back.
We will adapt and adjust to this car, but I have a major case of buyer's remorse and just kick myself for not looking closer and looking closer at other cars first. We wanted to go back to Honda, so we didn't do our homework like we should have.
Sorry Honda, fantastic looking car, with a lot of great features, some of which I Really like, but right now, to be honest, we both have major regrets about buying this car.
