I bought the 2005 Civic EX Special Edition about a month ago. It is the sedan version and the color is Magnesium metallic. I love the exterior/interior design scheme. I chose the sedan because I have a 1 yr old and need the room. I am extremely impressed with how much room this car has. I can leave her full size stroller in the trunk and still have plenty of room for groceries. The size issue was definetly important as I went from a Chevy trailblazer to a small car. The gas mileage I am getting with my civic is almost triple what I was getting with my trailblazer. I do wish that certain safety features I had in my trailblazer were also in my civic. When the vehicle is put in drive the doors automatically lock and I had day time running lights. I never had to mess with turning them off and on and that was a standard feature on my trailblazer. I would think on the completely fully loaded civic this would be a standard feature but I do not think Honda even has this(?). I also would have liked an optional leather feature and navigation system package. I got the special edition but it doesnt seem like it should be called that, it should just be the standard ex. The Se should have leather and navigation. I would have spent the extra $ to have these features. I am a young mom and didn't want to sport the ultimate "Mom" vehicle so this car is a perfect option so I can still feel sporty and young yet have all the room I need with my family.
