- Excellent fuel economy, awesome dash, great suspension, good visibility
- Hand brake pokes into the drivers leg
Purchased As New
This is my 4th Civic and the 2008-2009 models are cars up to the high standard set in previous years. I highly recommend the 09 Civic for reliability, fit and finish, and safety. The engine performance is a perfect balance between fuel economy and get up and go. When you punch the pedal there is more than enough power to get out front of traffic while the fuel economy is excellent. I get at least 5.1 to 5.3 liters per 100 kms which translates to 50+ Mpg. Hard to beat in todays car market. My only complaint is; please move the hand brake, it ruins the drivers comfort zone by poking into your right leg. Not all drivers will experience the same problem as the hand brake only seems to affect taller people. My wife has no problem with the hand brake position at all. Anyway - well done Honda! This is one great car and the price makes the best deal in the auto-market today.
