- Average 50 mpg without AC running, 45 mpg during the summer with max AC, roomy interior
- Only nuisance is that the passenger door doesn't unlock automatically when car is shut off
Our average commute to work is 20 miles and the speed is a 55-60 mph freeway, so we are able to operate very effeciently. We do notice drops in efficiency when we have to drive on the freeway faster than 60 mph but we still get around 42 mpg. If you have 4 people in the car you will probably see the mpg drop to around 40. AC is a killer in the summer it costs about 5 mpg, also the vehicle will not auto-stop in the hot Arizona heat due to the outside temp being greater than 100 degrees.
Driving around town with frequent stops and starts usually comes out to around 42-46 mpg.
