First of all, this isn't a Prius, for good or bad. It doesn't get the 50mpg I've seen Prius drivers claim. But then again, it's a more traditional design, so you're not as conspicuous.
It's a Civic; roomy for a small car, but it's a small car, so the ride will be a bit rough at times. Engine is small, so car not quick off the blocks. Also, while it averaged mid-40s mpg in spring, summer, and fall, once winter hit, mileage went south-averaging mid-30s mpg in the cold.
All that said, it's everything we expected; can take four adults comfortably around town, does well on the highway, and when it's not freezing, the mpg is great. We've had it 6 months, and would definitely buy it again.
