- Good fuel economy for the first year
- Poor fuel economy after they reflash your car's computer
Purchased As New
I own the 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid and after a year and a half of getting great gas mileage, the batteries start to fail. So Honda knowing this will happen, reflashes your computer so the gas engine runs more with less electric assist and of course a major drop in fuel economy to the tune of 10-15mpgs. Buying this car was a big mistake. I should have bought the Prius. Just to show that I'm not kidding about this, here is my VIN JHMFA36218S028311. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
