Purchased As Used
Been driving nearly 40 years. I've had Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, trucks, Buicks, Mercurys, Datsuns, Nissans, and more. Econoboxes, hot rods, cruisers, and floaty-boats.
This is the first vehicle in 4 decades of driving that has never broken down and needed a tow or had to have someone come pick me up. Not a bad alternator or fuel pump or clutch or differential or transmission. Nothing. It just goes and goes and goes.
I tune it up, I do most of the maintenance (oil, brakes, etc). I threw a $800 coat of paint at it to cover 200k+ worth of driving and the thing looks like new. Tires every 60k or so. Had the dealer do the timing chain (twice). Needed a radiator at 180k. But still never overheated or let me down.
It's at 215k+ and I can't see buying another daily driver until this one gets beyond 300k. Still gets 30-33 mpg. It's an EX so it has the sunroof, a/c and full power....read morehide
