- Well, it doesn't exactly ride like a Mercedes!
Purchased As Used
If not for a low-speed collision which looked minor, but would have involved prohibitive body work, I would still be happily driving my '89 Civic small wagon. My '95 was stolen and 'dismantled' for parts. I replaced that with a 2002 LX and drove that, also happily, until it was declared a total loss in a highway collision (nobody hurt, thankfully).We loved that car so much that we asked for - and found - the exact same car - an '02 EX, this time, same color! I have had not one day's trouble with it or any of our Hondas. My two oldest learned to drive on the '89, which meant they learned on a standard transmission - always a good skill to possess. The fact is that Hondas are one of the most reliable brands on the road, safe and dependable (2 collisions and no injuries!)
