- Nice look. Good gas mileage.
- Cheap interior quality. Stiff price for a compact car.
I test drove 06 Civic EX yesterday. Beautiful exterior. The acceleration was good for a car in its class. But the interior quality was worse than I expected. The huge dashboard and instruments were toy-like and cheap... Not so impressed by the car's overall qualities.

- nice new body style
- pricey for a compact
I shopped around for a Civic but found a better deal on midsize. So I went and got a Camry for $16.7k which is $1k less than a Civic Lx. It is not logical but you can find a lot of midsize out there for a price of Civic.

- Great Styling in and out, fuel economy,Great standard features on a ex
- lack of color choices in and out, dash design,
People complain about the 20k for the car when the reality is that most cars with this many safety, and standard accesories as this one has, are this much money. I upgraded my ex to add leather heated seats- the dealership can do this for you and its worth it to me, and thats what counts. I love the fuel economy and it feels like it has higher horsepower than it does, its plenty peppy, and easy to get around in.. its the first car in a while i have owned that my arms can compfortably rest on the arm rest on the door and the middle consule and still steer the car. the extra large dead peddle is also just in the right place. I love the dash colors, but i dont cae much for the design of the dash, maybe ill get used to it? Its a great car for the money!...read morehide

- 2 Dr Coupe is gorgeous. I traded a BMW 3 series for it and I would do it again.
- A touch expensive but then a Smart car is $18k.
My daughters think their dad is 'Cool' now that I have a two door coupe with a sun-roof. When I brought it home I realized there were no fewer than four Civics in our driveway. I traded a '98 BMW for it and got the better of the deal. I have had a few problems in the past with my daughter's Civics but after a combined 500,000 Km I guess you can expect that.
The ride is better than the BMW. It is quieter. It is as peppy if not more so (I had a 318). It has more room than any car I've had not counting the Dodge Caravan.
I guess the only complaint I have is that I still haven't been able to figure out how far I am from anything in the front or the rear when I park. It will take time....read morehide

- sharp styling, everything comes standard, lots of pep
- epa of 30-40 a bit high, no leather available
This is not your father's Civic! I realize that $20k may seem like a lot for a Civic, but compared to everything else at that price point, this Honda is the clear winner. A spacious new interior feels like Acura quality, not entry-level, and the 5-speed auto works so well, you will never believe this car has less than 200 h.p, let alone only 140. With an XM ready stereo, power everything (including the moonroof), speed sensitive volume and wipers, outside temp with 2 trip odometers, and even a jack for my Ipod, the Civic has everything a family commuter needs, all in a stylish new package. This is a very well thought-out car, and it feels like it!...read morehide

- Roomier than 05 model. GPS option. Excellet built quality.
- Trunk can be a bit roomier.
Test drove one today and it was better than I expected. Very sleek-looking design. Sloping windshield yields more room than the previous model. Great gas mileage especially with the gas price nowadays. Test drive one.. you'll love it.
