2008 Honda Civic Si Sedan
There are 4 user reviews for the 6-Spd MT w/ Nav and Performance Tires trim shown below
I recently purchased this car for the commute to work (80 miles each way). I could've bought the standard model but the Si just jumped out at me. It's a fun car to drive, the handling is great. This is my third Honda and have never had a problem with them. Easily the quickest of the three. I have the Navi system in it and it's great. I just wish the vehicle had like Onstar or was Bluetooth enabled but I hear that Honda has fixed that on next years model... :( Overall I am very happy with the vehicles performance and would buy one again if I could....read morehide

- In this day and age the fuel economy 29-34 MPG of a 4 cyl car, with the performance of 197 Horses.
- 197 Horse Power @ 7800 rpm when the Red line is 8000 RPM.....so you almost never get all the power
I bought the car just when it came out in 2006 and have loved it ever since. I received so many compliments that I lost count. And the power and handling is great. All I need to do is shift down a couple of gears and the car comes to life. I even bought the Navigation system which is a very useful feature. But the greatest thing I love about the my SI is its fuel economy at 29-34 MPG consistently. No other 6 cylinder cars I was looking at in 2006 offered that kind of mileage.
The flip side obviously is that you cannot expect to race a Mustang GT on a red line and expect to win...but all that power will definitely help you pass other cars and trucks on the freeway easily....and race them if you have to. It is a very fun car to drive and is a smooth cruiser even at 100+ mph....read morehide

- Good Gas mileage/comfortable interior/fast/smooth handling/lots of power
- metal on the inside burns when the car has sat in sun/ low to the ground and scrapes curve sometimes
I have the Mugen edition and I LOVE this car! It is great. The only things are like I said above. The gear shif and under the stearing wheel are metal so after you get in the car on a hot day and you try to shif you have to have something between your hand and the metal because it will burn your hand otherwise. Also the seats are dark which leads to a hot car on a hot day.
The AC is great as is the stero system. The car handles like a dream. The gas milage is great. The truck space is awesome.
The car is low to the ground. My model has ground effects that came on it so I have to be very careful on hills or else I will scrape the bottom of the ground effect.
This car has lots of nice features to help you. For instance, it won't let you lock yourself out and it won't let you leave your headlights on. It plays music until your turn the lights off. It has a buzzer which will go off until everyone is buckled up.
I would say get this car. The only 2 downfalls are that it is low to the ground and the metal gear shifter and those are worth the trouble....read morehide

- Economy better than expected, absolute blast to drive!
- Causes arguements over who's going to drive!
We went in with the intention of buying an Si Coupe. But once common sense set it, the Si Sedan was the only choice. No noticable difference in the handling whatsoever and way more space inside made it a no-brainer decision. The car is an absolute blast to drive and we have found ourselves almost arguing over who's going to drive! We have no regrets about buying the car whatsoever. The only noteworthy quality worth mentioning is the ride is very sport (in other words, firm) so you feel much of the road. But hey, that's why you buy a Sport Sedan in the first place!...read morehide
