The cheapest one I found was $9,900. I regret it everyday. Honda doesn't make fast cars and shouldn't try. Being a honda, it's naturally very reliable. DO NOT BUY IF LOOKING FOR PERFORMANCE. - The styling of this car is awesome; from exterior to interior, I get lots of looks on the road.
- Sloping hood took me a while to judge frontal distance. Audio system is horrible for this car.
Get rid of the current audio system. Install a decent "stereo." The Civic "Special Edition" has a far supeior system and it costs less than the Si. Some "softer" plastic on the interior would also help. Hard plastic pieces appear and feel "cheap." I would still by this car over a Mini Cooper. More interior room than Mini Cooper, including Cargo Space. Acceleration and handling are great with this car. Car does best on Interstate at 80 mph. No whine, groan whatsoever. Car loves to be driven. A 6th gear however would be great to lower the rpm and increase fuel mileage. I get better mileage around town at slower speeds than I do on the highway.
