- Good fuel economy, Easy to park, Ride is excellent, Good engine power
- Oil odometer checking thing is sooo awkward!!! As I Noticed Many Honda cars Body Paint chips fasT!!!
This is the best and good quality small SUV with a good engine and fuel economy. Honda makes the best engine. My husband bought for me in 2000, EX model. The university I attented was about 100 miles away from my home town in Montana. I've been driving at least 4 times a week since the year 2000, and finally graduated. My Honda CRV has been my loyal and trustful best friend on the road and it is now. It performs absolutely wonderful on the snowy road any road condition, if you drive safe and cautious, but be careful to make abrupt turns at high speed (as like many other SUV, Honda CRV has short frame). My steering wheel locks seldom for shorter period, and I complianed to a dealer mechanic about this when I was there for an oil change service, the meachanic said "That is nothing serious, just yank little bit your steering wheel, your key should move ". I did and it worked ever since. Only thing I am really unhappy is body paint, There were some paint chipped of around hood a bit when I bought as a new car in 2000, yet it got so worse over the past 4 years. Overall, I think honda makes safe vehicles with good engines and others. Design is not that cool, but you know it is more important to be safe for drivers. When I travelled across the states I noticed many Honda cars body paint chips in simular pattern even they are almost new. When you go for service if something needs to be replaced, part a bit expensive comparing to US made cars. Yet hopefully pay off over the years. My husband and I love to buy more Honda cars, nothing else. This is my true opinion about CRV.
I recommend to buy it.
