2006 Honda CR-V User Reviews

- good size, attractive, fair fuel economy
- loud, a little rough, burning brake (?) smell
Our first SUV. I've had much luck with my 95 Honda Civic so I felt some brand loyalty. I am a little disappointed with the CRV - it is not the smoothest ride, loud road noise, and the seats aren't very comfortable. We've been having a recurrent problem with a burning smell from the passenger rear, which I've had checked out twice. They claimed to have fixed the problem (warped rotors) but the smell is still there. We've been thinking about trading it in for a Prius but we have come to rely on the roominess. It is the perfect size car for us. I just don't have a strong sense that it will be reliable for years to come. Would be nice if the gas mileage was better (avg. 25-26 mpg).
